would this be just the bond auto arts, or ALL the autoart models they have made?
i have all 9 of the autoart bond models released and can provide details if you wish, but basically there are 4 versions of the DB5, the toyota 2000gt, bmw z8, and 3 versions of the lotus esprit; underwater with fins, road going white one, and the bronze one from FYEO

THANK YOU! That would be awesome if you could provide me with the details. I picked up one a few weeks back after I finished my sideshow collection and now I have the bug to complete that set.
...well both Turbos are the best models in that collection imho. We have been waiting for decent Esprits so long time and I really could not wait to get them into my collection then.

While the Turbo Esprits are truly superb, I do not rate the FYEO car to be the best in the collection - because it does not have the proper (OPW 678W) number plates like the other Autoart Bond cars. But I too feel that an Autoart Bond collection without the white Turbo is not complete. This is exactly the car as seen in the film, with a dark brown interior and 4-lug Compomotive wheels.
And there are five versions of the DB5 - three of the 70020 non-gadget car (without mirrors and GoldenEye plate BMT 214A, with mirrors and 214A, and later with correct 216A) and two of the 70021 with gadgets (without and later with roof panel). The 70020 with the 216A plate also includes the radar screen which I think the earlier versions do not have.

lol ok, i stand corrected and seemingly don't have all the db5 models... ... this annoys me
as I understood it, (and these are the ones i have)...the DB5's were as follows:
1) Registration BMT214A and no modifications or wing mirrors
2) Registration BMT216A and wing mirrors but no other "gadgets"
3) Registration BMT216A with mirrors and all "gadgets" but no roof panel
4) Registration BMT216A with mirrors, gadgets and roof panel (the most desirable model in the series)
Yeah don't fully remember the story, but when AutoArt released DB5
with wing mirrors for the first time, the license plate number was still "wrong" LOL

You may want to get the final DB5 version, the gadget car with the roof panel, first. This is rare and commanding high prices but once you have it you may find out that you don't need any other version, thus saving a lot of money.

As you have the 70020 with BMT 216A already - which is the most difficult to find -, the 214A with wing mirrors can be found regularly on Ebay. Can you look inside your two 70020's and tell me if your cars do have the radar scanner? I was quite surprised to find one as I thought the car was just the usual street version with different number plates.
What about these Kyosho versions? I have had various ERTL and Auto Art cars from other than Bond...but of course I stumbled upon the Kyosho models and the dealership exclusive cars....
Are they worth the prices that are out there right now?
Thanks again for everyone's time and effort! MUCH APPRECIATED!
depends which kyosho models you are after. i have long thought about getting the small-scale (1.87/ 1.43 etc) dealer only versions of the bmw's, but in my opinion, i think they are overpriced for what they are. i have no doubt they will be good quality, just a bit expensive.
I do however have the two 1.12 scale kyosho models - the Aston Vanquish and the BMW Z8. my versions are the ones done in collaboration with danbury/ franklin mint (so you get the certificate and a proper display case for them). at £300+ they are a bit steep, but they are properly made and incredibly solid models. the z8 has a working soft top and a detachable hard top too. i would advise that these are the ones to go for, if you are prepared to take the plunge. of course, if you do choose to get the danbury/ franklin versions then you will need to get the other 3 bond models released by danbury in order to complete that set...

Sorry RW, I only just noticed your request on this. I have had the ladders out and had a look within the DB5's:
BMT214A without gadgets or wing mirrors doesn't have the radar panel, the other three models I have do have the radar panel in the cabin
Indeed Teppo, there was one on the wonderful EBay a couple of weeks back. It didn't have a box or any paperwork but I still tried to get it. In the end it went for nearly £200, which was double my allocated spend

Thank you cris for the answer ... so the only question remaining: Does the 214A with mirrors have the radar screen? - I don't think so. Hope you get this version soon!

This morning one of the Danbury Mint Corgi copies ended for $76.50. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290539779056
They usually go for $150, I have not seen the one for £200. I once bid on one from the U.S. where I asked the seller if he would ship internationally. He said yes but when nobody else bid for the thing and I got it for the minimum of $50, he informed Ebay to cancel my winning bid as he would not send outside the States. X-(

That's pretty crappy. I have been selling and buying on eBay for over 12 years. If I tell someone or list something and it was wrong and I made a goof....I honor it. It has cost me in the past, but if you don't have your word then what do you have?
I would have stuck it to him in feedback and let eBay know too. Plus....if he tries to do a final value credit fee....deny it. He will then still have to pay the selling and listing fees.
The white Autoart Turbo Esprit indeed has the tobacco interior however OPW654W had compomotive wheels with black centres with polished face, not gold like the autoart model. The wheels on the Essex version should in fact be on the white turbo model.

I can't express how much I like this model! It brings back all the exitement when I had this model in hands for the first time! IMO without a doubt, the best AutoArt Model, that they have ever done!
