Pictures please! I'd love to have an accurate replica. There have been some poor recreations over the years. I've bought an original teardrop gear knob for my MG, but I'd definitely like to be able to flip it up for fun.

I will upload some pictures when the knob is done :)

But in the mean while if some is thinking about doing a gadget consul i am selling the stickers for £5

I used to love playing with those old dymo sticker makers, I must have labelled everything in my bedroom when I was about 7.

Did you do one saying "property of Bart j Simpson"?

Dymo label at £5 for 6 inches - I would need some nails and smoke thrown in as well :))

I would be interested in the gearshift if it would fit my Jag.
I'm already ahead of you on the other...

Just to be clear, your knob isn't related in anyway to this one?...eBay - JAMES BOND 007 Shifter, Aston Martin DB5

...which is a pretty terrible replica that has been floating around for a while now.

Duh...well obviously! The car used to belong to a beautician. Hit 'Nails' and you get a manicure. Hit 'Oil' and you get a massage. "Smoke" and it lights a cigarette for you. "Rear" and...well, that's where the gear knob comes in.

    $208?

    That's one pricey knob.*

    * interject with a cheesy double entendre, it's just too obvious for me to be arsed. Bugger.
