I've never dealt with that site, but it looks like every site that is listed here: http://www.filmjackets.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=28

I highly doubt that is the tux they will send you, sites like that are known to steal pictures from other well known vendors and use them without permission and mislead the average joe shopping for clothes. go take a look at the link above and you'll see.

I'd stay away from any site that does not provide actual images of their product on the website itself. all the reviews sound really fake and cheesy too.

I'd say look somewhere else.

it's made to measure and you can customize it quite a bit, including a shawl collar (even though they say they can't do a full black satin collar which I don't understand) I know indochino gets mixed reviews but I'm probably going to be getting one of these in the near future. can't beat it for the price. plus you get free shipping and a $75 credit towards local tailoring if you need to have something adjusted after they send it.

I have used King and Allen - sadly they stopped visiting Bristol or I would continue to do so.
Although I have not used A Suit That Fits yet, I have heard good things about them.

Incidentally, if that picture you posted IS the real product (the fact you are unsure means I also say stay away) its a poor rendition! - The shawl collar is too narrow, there are pocket flaps (the SF suit has welt pocket seams) and the shape of the jacket appears wrong. Lacks the shoulder structure for a start.

Hi,

Just to add, regarding the first photo:

- the bowtie is far too blue

- the "Shawl collar"/silky/acetate lapels look far too narrow

One suggestion I have is to buy a navy shawl cardigan tuxedo jacket from a different clothing company that is cheaper, and screen accurate. Tom Ford is extremely expensive, (I have the 108 sunglasses from QOS, and will likely not buy anything or much anyway, TF.

Thanks to all who posted some sites, I've been dying to have this outfit actually, especially since I'll be attending a wedding a few years now.

Looking for a "copy" as well. Think it's pretty hard to find an alternative, as most have awfully narrow collars (hate that trend). Not into buying one from Magnoli or any other MTM company over the Internet, would rather buy an of the rack-tuxedo and have it adjusted by a local tailor than begin to fumble around in personal measurements.

It's unfortunate that practically nobody sells midnight blue dinner suits ready to wear. Polo Ralph Lauren sometimes has them, for about $1600-1800. Brioni has them for a few thousand more. Only high-end makers do them in blue. Despite it looking navy in the advertisements, the Skyfall dinner suit actually is a very dark midnight blue, not navy.

Yeah, it's actually a pain reproducing this because if you want it accurate in a midnight blue, it will NOT look like it does in the advertisements, which have been artificially brightened. Watch the movie... it looks black most of the time. But, if you want something to look like the posters, etc, you'll have to go with a dark blue, not midnight blue... too dark.

Well, I guess it's a start, but besides the fact that it's a blue, shawl-collared tuxedo, it doesn't look anything like the one in Skyfall...fits pretty poorly too in that picture too. If you're not willing/able to pony up the money for the authentic, then I'd suggest the Magnoli. It looks pretty solid, and it's the only good replicate that I've seen that's probably in your price range.

I can understand that. I tend to provide measurements from garments that fit me well in addition to my own body measurements when I order MTM online.

Regarding the colour, Matt and Indy, that's a very good point, in Skyfall, I found that in the Floating Dragons Casino, it basically looks black, because the lighting is so dark. That's what I though initially. Then later, the lightest shade of navy blue we see is on Hashima Island, where's it's very sunny, and the navy somewhat complements the navy lense Marko sunglasses.

The way I see it is, don't be turned down from getting it just because you may think it will never appear "blue", it entirely depends on the lighting conditions. A lot of formal indoor events where people wear tuxedos is darker lit rooms, on a sunny day it would appear blue as seen on Hashima Island.

I also agree that the Magnoli one is quite accurate, wide lapels, large navy coloured closure buttons. A navy tuxedo, I personally think, is way better than a standard black, because its colour changes depending on the lighting. Be sure to get the dress shirt as seen in Skyfall! It looked a bit more slick to me, rather than the common pleated front shirts...

I wouldn't trust this site. For starters, it looks like the first site mentioned. Second, the tuxedo replica doesn't look all too good. And lastly, I browsed more of the site, and noticed they stole pictures of Baron Boutique's CR three piece suit.

For the most part, I have to agree.

They've obviously taken screen captures or photos or stills from the movie, photoshopped out DC, and used them to market the products...I'm always weary when stock photos are used for everything. You even see this on the bay of e sometimes.

It's also suspicious that the prices are ridiculously low, I mean $200 for the tuxedo!? Makes me wonder what the quality is like.

You might email them to send you a photo of the ACTUAL item, that'll sure challenge them!

If you don't mind spending a decent amount, maybe get a high quality tailor to make one for you. I've considered this, but I don't know how often I would realistically need a tuxedo...

I ordered this suit, as I needed a tux for some award shows coming up. I wanted something a little more "flash" than a standard black tux.
Just got it in today, and it in fact is quite nice. I will post some pics on Sunday.
It was a gamble, as a I wasn't sure what to expect for $200.
I won't to pretend that it's as nice as my $600 grey Weiland suit from global Rebels. As the fabric isn't as heavy.
Or as nice as the $1200 bespoke suite I really want.
But it's actually a great suit for $200.

Looks great! The fit is great for something you got online. However, the sleeves are much too long and unfortunately the sleeves have working buttonholes. The alteration would involve shortening the sleeve from shoulder, which is why buttonholes should only be put in after the sleeve length is fitted.

I agree. I measured the sleeves a bit too long, and will be going to a tailor to see what can be done.
Also, I am probably going to have it taking in a bit in the waist, so it's slightly more fitted.

Sleeves can be shortened about an inch from the shoulder, but usually no more. A bit can probably be taken off both ends, if your cuff buttons are as far from the edge as they are in the product photos. I thought the waist looked pretty fitted in the photos.

I agree. The sleeves need adjusting but otherwise its fine. The collar seems slightly bunched and the lapel length is not as deep a cut as I'd wear, but those are style and cut specifics, not a reflection on the basic design.
The waist looks fine, I'd leave that alone.

Looks very nice, but it's unfortunate that it has working buttons on the cuffs. It costs a fortune to adjust the sleeve length from the shoulder.
