Great Zulfi, thanks for the info. Did you get estimates on prices? Isnt the E range the highest/most expensive?

Awesome. Now if only we could special order the ties....

I'm glad you got this though, I've been trying to find the product code for the prince of whales check.

These are fantastic! So the herringbone suit is navy? It's nice to see that confirmed since I couldn't tell if it was charcoal or navy. I'm guessing that means the tie is navy and silver instead of black and silver, which is what people here have been looking for.

    Happy to assist.

Just to give you an estimate on prices for the suits

Made to Measure (which is usually about 10% more expensive than Made to Order) for the following ranges are:

    Range C - approx £2,600

    Range D - approx £2,900

In terms of ranges, I saw a fabric which was a Range N and it was a fantastic silk/cachemire fabric, I think the words Price On Application was written next to the estimate!!

Matt - The final suit was a navy (dark) blue mini herringbone - apologies again for the quality of the pics

Re: Ties - I am making enquiries, will post something once I hear back from Tom Ford....watch this space ;)

That's actually not bad if you're a tourist, since you can get a VAT refund.

So about 2158 with VAT deducted

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but care to label them by the scenes? I recognize some from QoS, but others I don't recognize.

As far as I can tell, welshboy has already put them in order of appearance for QoS to Skyfall.

    From left to right:
    QoS - PTS/Sienna/car chase tie
    QoS - London/MI6 tie
    QoS - Bolivia arrival tie
    QoS - Greene party tie
    QoS - Kazan tie
    SF - Istanbul tie
    SF - MI6 evaluation tie
    SF - Granborough tie
    SF - M office tie

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not 100% sure about the last three SF ties.

Yes indeed screen order (there is a COS shanghai tie slung in)

Ah, Thank you. I never thought the Green Party tie and the Bolivia Tie were that light!

The colours are a bit off with the ties furthest away (The QoS PRS one looks nothing like it in that pic)

Will do some better detailed pics when I return home in a few weeks!

For those of you who missed my earlier post, here is a link to more suit and swatch info:

Although, as pointed out, the suits in the film use 3 buttons, not 2.

    Hope that this helps.

I've said it before, but the business man in me really thinks Ford is missing out on a goldmine by not riding the James Bond wave. I get he's all about being 'exclusive' and all, but even putting out only 200 of these ties a piece is pretty exclusive once you get down to consideration. I really just cannot fathom his thought process on this one....

To all of you who happen now to own TF Skyfall suits -
Was told by TF staff in Milan that the screen accurate version of the suits is for 2 buttons jacket but I am seriously in doubt if that guidance is correct or not.
    Pleased to hear.
    Thanks

Hi Matt I defer to your expertise for my question below.

Does the middle button on a 3 button suit sit at the same height as the top button of a 2 button suit?

Curious as to whether the skyfall suits create a different/deeper V shape because it rolls to the middle button.

The middle button on a button-3 should be at the same place as the top button on a button-2. They serve the same purpose as the fulcrum of the jacket. The lapels of Skyfall suits actually roll to the top button, not the middle button like in Quantum, and you can still see the top button with the lapel roll there. The top only pulls open because the jacket is too small.

Just wondering if someone can tell me how wide the COS tie is? I'm in Canada so I can't buy it directly, but the Tie Bar has a very similar tie and I need to know if I should get the regular or slimmer version.

Those prices are insane, I dont even want to ask what Range E is case of the Tuxedo. Beautiful pieces though

These are MTM prices, MTO will be about £300 cheaper, however if you're in a position to pay for MTO spending that extra will make sure you get a suit that fits perfectly.

Granted the prices are high, even for bespoke, but they are great suits.

    Hi,

I have just found this site by looking for a bit more information on some Tom Ford items.

I currently have a O'Conner Suit on order from TF, which was a Range E fabric from Selfridges. This is coming in at £3,850 looking at my receipt. I believe its due in early next week at some point.

Does anyone know if the Selfridges store carries the Skyfall ranges of ties?

    Thanks

    Andy
