Best Career Outside Bond

Just wondered what others think about how the Bond actors have fared outside of Bond. This falls into three categories: pre Bond, during Bond and post Bond. There are a number of arguments for each actor for each category but my overall vote would have to go to Mr Brosnan. He had become a name before his Bond days with some good film work and the success of Remington Steele. I thought he made some good films during his Bond time (Thomas Crown, Mars Attacks, Tailor of Panama) and has continued pretty successfully with a wide range of good films and big films (Matador, Mama Mia, The Ghost etc). Any other votes for any of the others?

Brosnan has had a nice career since he quit.
Strength to strength, unlike the other Bonds.
Will have a big career after Bond. -{
Outings, it ended his career.
Lazenby, bit of TV work small films, career stalled.
Moore, after Bond he was a bit too old, so nothing major career wise.
Dalton, seemed to prefer Theatre and privacy, so I don't think he pushed his career.
Brosnan, some films no big hits ( November nan, might be ? )
Craig, after Bond, I think you'll see him in a few big movies.
Well I might be a teeny bit biased in favor of Connery (Ha!), but I think Sir Sean takes the crown here. Besides some of the stellar work he did post-Bond, many of which our friend Number24 has listed, he also had some pretty good outings while in the midst of his tenure as 007. For example, Marnie (1964), The Hill (1965), The Molly McGuires (1970), and The Anderson Tapes (1971) come to mind. Not to mention that he is the only Bond actor with an Oscar if I'm not mistaken.
At least one, surely, made a lot of money money money?
Unfortunately Brosnan does nothing
Its a gift of a role. You can actually show why this leader did what he did. The actor can show behind the eyes the thinking behind it. McGregor showed him up in a film
Brosnan has charisma and looks.But what else?
Craig will have a bigger range then Brosnan. he will be playing Kings and Emporers to the cows come home.

For Connery the difficulty was getting his career going again in the 70's, which was a hard time for British action actors (look at the films Michael Caine and oliver Reed made). As I recall sir Sean's real comeback was "outland" in around 1980,and he carried from there
