Anybody else going to have a Bond marathon before SPECTRE comes out?

I was thinking of watching one Bond a week until the release date so I would start it some time in May. I want to do it right now though LOL, I'm so excited.

Is anybody else going to do this? And when would you start it?
1: Casino Royale 2: Goldeneye 3: Skyfall 4: Octopussy 5: Goldfinger 6: Tomorrow Never Dies 7: The World Is Not Enough 8: The Living Daylights 9: From Russia With Love 10: The Spy Who Loved Me

I JUST posted a comment on a similar post like this to Jarvio in another thread. I might as well copy and past what I said there here:

It's funny you say this Jarvio, I'm not sure if it's part of being a Bond fan, but I too have been aching for the last couple of weeks to rewatch them all in order. I am actually trying to find a friend or somebody intrested enough to watch them all with me. Somehow it can be very refreshing and a lot of fun to watch the films you've watched countless times and each know back to back with someone who's new to them. I did this in 2011 with a friend who wasn't into Bond that much at all, but I have the most fond memories of those nights. He moved away and lives to far away now unfortunatly. My girlfriend is 'kind' of into it, and she would be willing to do it.

To add: I don't know what it is, but as soon as a new Bond movie is announced or (in this case the title is now known and the speculation really begins) you get excited and really want to spend your time doing everything Bond. I am aching to read through all the Fleming novells, heck, I would even want to review all the movies or do podcasts on them if I could find somebody willing to cooperate. I'm full of energy for Bond - and watching all those movies :D

By the way... This reminds me of this guy on YouTube called James Clark. He actually did a full-on James Bond marathon over a weekend that included ALL the Bond films and included the Everything or Nothing documentary. I have NO clue how he managed to stay awake for so long! Insane attempt, but he did it! :

I said I was going to watch Casino Royale and Skyfall on Thursday after the press conference but didn't and then I was debating watching the Blofeld trilogy but haven't yet so I think I'm just going to have a marathon, then I get to watch them all anyway.

I'll definitely be watching TB as its having its 50th anniversary.

I shall most probably watch my personal faves - TSWLM, OP, TLD, GE - as well.

I can't wait any longer so I'm just going to do the marathon now and then do another one before Spectre comes out. It's still a whole year away pretty much.

I will be watching the Craig James Bond films prior to seeing Spectre. I will say that yesterday I watched part of A View to a Kill and all of Live and Let Die.

I am a very reluctant reader - typical boy, even when it comes to the Bond novels. When I do read t hem I thoroughly enjoy them, especially if I'm by the pool in some faraway Bondian location. Anyway, I have recently discovered the delights of the audiobook and am loving them. OHMSS was sensational!

Won't be doing a movie marathon throughout 2015 as I watch Bond all the time anyway.

If you start Dr No on Ian Flemings birthday and watch one film per week as the original post says, you will finish one week before SPECTRE release

I'll watch them all. But maybe not Dr. No (I don't like that one.)

    Count me in.

I'm quite new to the franchise. I've only watched 8 out of the 23 Eon films. My goal is to complete all of them before Bond 24.

For those who live in London the Prince Charles Cinema is showing every single Bond on the big screen:

    http://www.princecharlescinema.com/events/events.php?seasonanchor=007

I've seen DN and FRWL and YOLT on the big screen. I might give GF and particularly TB a crack as its one of my least favourites and defenders of it always say you have to see it on the big screen.

DAF, LALD and TMWTGG I can pass on. TSWLM and MR have to be worth a watch though - not so sure about FYEO, OP and AVTAK.

And the rest I've seen on release.

Most annoyingly the only one I am absolutely desperate to see is OHMSS and I cant make it due to my sister's twatting wedding in India!

Seems a bit of an odd decision to have it so early in the year though. Given there will be zero SP build up till after june you would think they would coincide it to finish a few weeks before SP comes out wouldnt you?

As an addendum, I should say that I want to avoid watching Bond films a month or two before Spectre comes out so I don't get fatigued.

Before Skyfall came out, I watched all the Bonds with some college friends in a month. It was very exhausting trying to work everyone's schedule to find time to do it. We finished only a couple hours before the midnight release.

This time, I'm watching two a month with all my friends who haven't seen any of them. I feel this will be better for all my friends to get them into the series and hopefully get them excited for SPECTRE's release.

Just watched all three Craig Bonds back to back. I'll be watching them
    Again before watching SPECTRE. :D

So basically what I'm doing with Spectre x100. Would never want to stress myself out like that by trying to watch 22 films in one month. At the same time, it's really cool you guys are doing it together as friends.

Two a month sounds a bit more sensible.

I think I started watching the Bond films in May-June, and I'm halfway through them. It's December now. I want to finish all the Bond films by May of next year, but knowing my addictive personality, I might get done by February.

You should watch them all in order though, from Dr. No to Skyfall and then straight to the cinema for Spectre.
