Did anyone make closeups from the Octopussy egg

during the recent exhibitions?

We need some input re. the engraving of the outer skeletonized shell.

Thank you!

Another fine "capture" from a museum forbidding all photos. Well done, OO7. :p

When I visited the International Spy Museum in June 2014, there didn't seem to be any restrictions on photos. I shoot with a large Canon 60D/200mm lens. I didn't see any signage, nor did any museum staff direct me to cease taking photos. So I took a lot of photos!
At the Designing 007: 50 Years of Bond Style Exhibit. There were warning signs and plenty of security staff around making sure no one took any photos. Which is too bad. They had some great displays. One of my favourites was the Jill Masterson life-size model from Goldfinger. The detail on the body sculpt was very well done. I love the book the Barbican put out regarding this event. But I wish there was another book specifically on the items they had on display. I would love to have a copy of Auric Goldfinger's jacket that was on display.

There are no restrictions on photos in the DC exhibit; in fact, a staff member held attendees back for me to get one particular shot.

Doubt this is of any use as it's not as sharp SidneyFox's but here ya go:

I have a copy of one of those replica Fabrege Eggs from Octopussy. It doesn't really compare to the one I photographed at the International Spy Museum. It's a nice piece but lacking in certain detail. Do you still want a photo of this version?

I have the cheap replica myself - I don't need pics from this.

    Welcome, Sir Derek:

Is there a stand shown in the final film or is the egg always loose?
