Which film is best to look at?

I'm talking about the film itself, in set pieces, colours, locations etc.
Some of my favourites include DN, which uses bright colours, and I think the sea looks great in this film. MR for the same reason, and the space scenes look great and very different to any other Bond film. My last favourite one is AVTAK, purely because it uses snow, and lively locations like Paris and San Francisco.

I think Thunderball just edges it for me. But some of Goldfinger (in particular the Alps scene) is breathtaking. And as you say, the sea and tropical location in Dr. No looks gorgeous.
Honourable mentions to Casino Royale, For Your Eyes Only and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Particularly the ones from the 60's. They literally make you wish you could be there, in that place, at that time.

Got a feeling SPECTRE in the snow is going to be absolutely stunning though
But it lacks in the other departments like set pieces and locations.
Absolutely agree with you the casino in Macau and arrival in Shanghai are stunning

The Amazon always blow me away.
I agree, plus I'd add OHMSS and CR.
I've always loved the dark, muted 90's aesthetic of GE. Aged well I think.
CR has a really great aesthetic that hearkens back to the Fleming novels in some way, for me at least. Just very "classic" looking.
That all being said, it's obvious to me that SF is far and away the best looking Bond film ever, largely thanks to the Mendes/Deakins dynamic.

My favorite Bond films to look at are:
Moonraker - Globetrotting to the best looking places on earth…and beyond!
TSWLM- Roger Moore treks across the blazing desert of Egypt…and it looks amazing!
Octopussy - So colorful in India. So grim in Berlin.
Goldeneye - Soviet Missile Trains. USSR. Russia. Siberia. T-55 Tanks. St. Petersburg. Great model work, mood, and atmosphere.
OHMSS - Piz Gloria. Winter. Switzerland.
and TMWTGG. This one doesn't get enough credit in this regard, but it has some of the best style and gorgeous scenery of any Bond film.

MR=Bond meeting Goodhead on the observation platform in Rio, Amazon boat scenes
FYEO=Bond stepping out on his hotel balcony in Cortina.........This scene cemented for me the Jet Set luxurious lifestlye that is James Bond....It was spectacular on the big screen
The CGI crap in SF should not count!

Hey, I'm old*! I've been watching them on the big screen since the 60s! All of them- and YOLT tops 'em all.
