Does anyone listen to James Bond Radio?

It's a weekly radio podcast available on iTunes and Youtube. The two lads that do it, Tom and Chris, are fellow Bond nuts and provide great entertainment as they discuss all things Bond. Plus they get some really great interviews done on their show. I'm sure people on here listen to them, but if not check them out! :))

Yes, indeed. I listen to their show regularly and find it very entertaining. Some of the interviews have been great, I especially enjoyed the interview with Raymond Benson, also Sylvan Mason (Jack Whittingham's daughter) was a great one and the latest interview, with Terry Bamber. Tom and Chris are both entertaining to listen to. The 'game show' segment at the end of each episode is also a highlight. They recently switched from new episode every two weeks to an episode every week which I am really pleased about.

I highly recommend James Bond Radio to all Bond fans, do check it out.

This podcast is one of the better Bond podcasts. Rather than movie fans getting together to talk about Bond movies (because everybody loves Bond movies), they're true fanatics and it shows. Chris' Bond knowledge has great depth, evident in the 'from left-field' trivia questions that continually stump Tom. Alternatively, Tom's experience in the entertainment industry and what I would assume is a background in broadcasting keep the professionalism high and the boredom low. It is quite refreshing to listen to a podcast where the details are accurate and I am not left screaming at the iphone while other podcasters are trying to remember the name of a character or confusing their facts. However close to perfection, there have been one or two instances where their facts have been confused; rather than lauch online to correct them (I am not a participant in Facebook or Twitter), I smile and remind myself that I have learned some wonderful new information from this podcast.

I find myself skipping the novel and film reviews: how many more times can we hear/read/see a commenter discuss what has been done before? Where the duo excels is in the interviews. Who in their right mind would interview Robert Sellers, Sylvan Mason and Terry Bamber? Tom and Chris jump head-first into the mouth of the lion, grinning with martinis and PPK's in hand, asking the questions I had posed in my head all these years as a die-hard fan.

Quizzing each other with quotes always brings a laugh as, through an astute diligence at authenticity of accent, they stumble across the most treacherous of foreign languages from the films to out-wit each other. More entertaining is their attempt to complete the subsequent song lyric from the theme tunes, as one gets the idea that neither spent time practicing their vocal abilities in order to achieve maximum comedy.

My biggest thanks to them for providing a spoiler warning with regard to SPECTRE news and providing a time that we can skip to and miss that info.

I understand an upcoming podcast will involve answering listener questions, which I feel will be very entertaining.

I listen to their podcast as well. It really shows that they love James Bond and I applaud each and every one who takes the time to share their enthusiasm with the rest of the world. It must take quite some time to prepare and record these podcasts.

Agreed, I would love to do something like that, but I don't think I would find the time to do it on a regular basis.

I enjoy the film reviews because i like hearing thier thoughts on the films. I like the humourous discussions as they go through scene by scene. I like that they have a question of the day on FB and twitter. It's excellent filler inbetween podcasts.

I appeared on a friend's podcast for a 3-part James Bond special in 2012. The first 2 episodes we discussed our 5 favourite films in the series, and the third episode was a review of Skyfall when it came out.

    Hey guys,

We Bond fans at James Bond Radio are currently running 30 Days of SPECTRE, where we release a new podcast every single day talking about a different aspect of the new film. We begin with a 100% spoiler free (no hints, no insinuations...nothing) episode all about our night at the red carpet premiere at the Royal Albert Hall. Obviously it's spoiler city from day 2 onwards, so if you haven't seen the film yet, I'd hold back on listening past the first episode.

Day 001: The Red Carpet Premiere
    Day 002: The Pre-Title Sequence
    Day 003: The Title Sequence
    Day 004: M
    Day 005: Q
    Day 006: Moneypenny

    Enjoy :-)

    Chris & Tom

Been listening to James Bond Radio for quite some time now :) - I usually put it on and just start listening to the conversations while i'm doing some drawing, or paperwork for my course, or whatever I need to do. It's always good fun to listen to those two.

Also on a personal note Tom. Since i've been busy transforming my channel into a Bond channel, I did a tiny tribute to James Bond Radio in my channel trailer. And I am also promoting you guys on my channel. Both are just minor things of course, but as a fan of the show I'm happy to spred the word.

    Keep it up! -{

(P.S I listened to all the episodes of the 30 days of SPECTRE so far, you guys are making november a great month! :D )

Day 9 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!

It’s time to talk Madeleine Swann on today’s edition of James Bond Radio. From her opening scene at the Hoffler Clinic to driving off into the London sunset in Bond’s DB5 she holds her own throughout. We get a solid backstory that sounds like it’s straight out of Fleming, some impressive pistol skills and let’s face it, she looks BANGIN’ in that dress.

Make sure you tune in to Madeleine Monday only on James Bond Radio!

Day 10 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!

We’re talking iconic henchmen on today’s edition of JBR. After seeing Mr. Hinx in action in SPECTRE we talk through some of his key scenes, speculate on his potential return in Bond 25 and compare him to previous Henchmen like Oddjob and Jaws.

Don’t miss today’s edition of James Bond Radio.

Day 11 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!

It’s time to talk Mr. White on James Bond Radio. First seen in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, Jesper Christensen returns in SPECTRE as the glue that ties those films together. Considering Mr. White was sent to kill Le Chiffre and was present at the Quantum opera house meeting we speculate on his potential position within SPECTRE itself. Could he have been Number 2? Or maybe even 3 or 4? Find out in today’s episode of James Bond Radio.

Day 12 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!

Today we take a look a long hard look at Bond’s arch nemesis, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

This time played by Christoph Waltz we take a look at how he compares to previous portrayals by Donald Pleasance, Telly Savalas and Charles Gray and discuss where he fits in that rogue’s gallery of Blofi.

Only picked up on JBR in one of the posts a couple of weeks ago when i commented on Spectre. and i'm addicted to the lads - come across very well, good interaction, dissection, so much relevant to say. Really enjoying the 30 days of Spectre -will miss that when it's over - have almost caught the entire back log catalogue over the past couple of weeks - makes for great late evening listening - great work Tom and Chris keep it up.
