The clips it takes from mostly Brosnan's films after Bond and shows that he could have been a more serious Bond, and could have done another Bond film or two before being too old. He's certainly too old now.

Bond has moved on. Craig is Bond now. You can either cling on to your prejudices and get bitter or you can embrace him..

Every time someone posts anything positive about Brosnan, you don't just attack Brosnan, but you attack the people who like him. I not only like Brosnan, but I also like Connery, Lazenby, Moore and Dalton. All of the previous Bonds still matter! You cling on to your prejudices and get bitter. Very, very bitter.

basically, you attack the whole Brosnan fanbase by calling them sad just because they like a former Bond actor!!!
just because some people float in nostalgia it doesn't automatically mean that the have a dislike for the present Bond actor!

Connery:gone, Lazenby: gone, Moore:gone, Dalton:gone! so all these years and films don't matter to you just because they're in the past?

Well, I don't care much for Craig as Bond. I like him in some other roles, but I'm not crazy about his Bond. On the other hand, I'm not one of the many people rushing to replace him either. In the interest of the Bond franchise, I hope Craig sticks with Bond for another film. I understand how much he has helped the Bond films! But in posting this I wasn't saying that I think Brosnan should still be Bond. I put the age limit at 55.
Don't take everything so seriously. I really didn't mean posting this video to be provocative in any way. I just thought it was interesting and fun to see Brosnan in a different way.

and deliver a funny quip, when needed.
Craig was lucky that when he got the gig, they had decided to
Go for a more emotional Bond and write scenes, with a bit more
Depth and meaning to them.
So I too wish both actors the best of luck, and would love to see
Brosnan have a big hit, as he's given some great performances.
We're all Brothers ( some sisters as well) in Bond, so hopefully
We can have the odd argument, but still kiss and make up.
I share your thoughts. Brosnan's biggest fault was that he was too stiff as Bond. I don't feel that way about him at all as an actor, but that's how he played Bond most of the time. As you said, "look good in a suit, and deliver a funny quip". By the way he moved, he was mostly just a Brioni model. He did an excellent job at that. He needed a director to tell him to relax!
And it is. A younger Brosnan with better directing and better scripts - dunno if I'd like him even better than Craig (whom I like a lot but we might also be wrongly giving him credit for these external factors which aren't left to the actors to decide).

I don't think Brosnan would have entered Moore territory. He showed with the November Man that he could do things in his 60s that Moore could never do! Moore aged better than Connery did, but Brosnan aged better than Moore.

If many who would criticise Brosnan now, would have continued
to think he was fine as 007 ? As I think one of the problems Pierce
Has, is that his films were followed by, such a change of direction.
I know I though Brosnan was Fantastic as Bond, but after seeing CR.
I thought " Wow, Bond is dangerous again" -{ but I think it's wrong to
Blame one man for the four films he made. He IMHO did the best with
what he was given, I doubt Craig would have faired any better with DAD.
After all, many of the same crew who made DAD also made CR.
Craig would not have made DAD. I see huge rows with Tamahori. Brosnan goes along with any **** they gave him - Craig works with the director, producer to make something better..

I just do NOT understand how one can "dislike" somebody for sth he's not in charge of at all.
It's like blaming a waiter for a tasteless soup eventhough it's clearly the cook's fault!
