But is there a 'flawless' Bond for YOU? ?:)

Frwl is perfect quality wise. For me TLD and OP are just about flawless and OHMSS close behind

Even though i love OHMSS, the dubbing is too obvious, fight noises and all

Some movies are better than others, but I don't think I would consider any as "flawless".

To my mind, Goldfinger is about as close as it gets--the structure and mixture of comedy and action are both great--but of course there are flaws. Then again, sometimes it's the flaws that make something even more endearing!

FRWL is the closest. TLD also is pretty much perfect for me, though not as perfect as FRWL for reasons I'm not sure. Whilst I think OHMSS, FYEO and OP are some of the greatest Bond movies as well, they each have a few notable flaws. OHMSS has few lines very poorly delivered from Lazenby as well as the Hilary Bray dubbin. FYEO has a truly fantastic score by Bill Conti, but the music just isn't right at all for a serious Bond film. The music doesn't ruin the film, but if John Barry scored that film it would undoubtedly be my favorite Bond film. OP has the Tarzan yell and Bond checking his watch in the gorilla costume.

Pretty much this. Yeah. I'd add Dr No to list of very, very good films as well, although some might call it uneven. I used to hate Octopussy for the Tarzan yell et. al. but it's very good and I enjoyed it on my last watch. I also rate Casino Royale highly...

Though I think the Tarzan yell is very out of place, I hate it even more for how it gives people a reason to hate the entire movie. But it doesn't take away from all the great things in Octopussy. Casino Royale has some very significant flaws for me, such as failing to have a believable love story.

From Russia With Love is probably the purest most flawless movie. But there are movies (to which you could say there are some flaws in), but I found way more fun. Like FYEO, TWINE, LALD, YOLT and so on.

For the tone they set for themselves & what they were attempting to do, I'd say DN, FRWL, GF & TSWLM were basically flawless.
TLD & QOS (& maybe CR) were close enough to it.
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

Well, that's my personal favourite Bond movie, but I have to admit it's not entirely flawless... :))

There is no such thing as a truly flawless film. Even amongst the Bonds. Its like the publicity muffin that say "best action film ever!" Or "the best film of 2016" - in February?

However, for me Casino Royale 2006. My outright favourite Bond film, just nosing slightly ahead of the others in my favourites group. (GF, OHMSS, MKR, TLD, TWINE, and CR-06.)
I suppose it's because it has the highest number of preferred / favourite elements for me.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I think OHMSS and FRWL are the closest to being flawless. It's difficult for me to choose between the two: In OHMSS, the locations are better and Bond's wardrobe is more interesting; but FRWL has the strength of Connery's performance. Both are simply excellent, and seem to keep getting better with time.

Many other films in the series had the potential to rise to that level, but fell short for one reason or a another. For instance, TSWLM has always been my favorite Bond film, but the clothing and the score are both too dated, which are a major flaws.

Indeed. Both FRWL and OHMSS occupy my #1 spot equally as favourite Bond film. The fact that they are both (more than less) true to the Fleming original has something to do with it, but so too does the execution and chemistry onscreen. And, in both, Blofeld* has never seemed more powerful.

    * Yes, I know he didn't feature in the original Fleming FRWL...
