Hi all, I'm looking for any second hand, old or battered copies of Bond on Set Filming Quantum of Solace and Bond on Set Filming Skyfall that anyone doesn't want and are happy to sell them to me so do let me know if you can help, thanks!

    Tried Amazon but their prices are astronomical! Just want to see the photos, not bothered about the quality of the book.

    Ebay? There were lots there a few months ago when I was looking and for a reasonable price too.

    There are lots of Die Another Day and Casino Royale which I've already got, there's just Quantum of Solace which costs way too much!

    They're very collectable on account of the photographer Greg Williams and the Craig Bond films, Williams' book for Die another Day is very cheap on account of the film not being one of the best Bronson Bond films!

    Right, but the CR book is by the same photographer and is available on Amazon for literally pennies. Was curious why these two specifically are so in demand.

    I remember when the Skyfall one came out and they were selling it in The Works for a tenner. Unfortunately I never bought one. The equivalent for SPECTRE, Blood, Sweat & Bond is available in TK Maxx in Manchester for £12.99, if anyone is interested.

    The prices on the QoS and Skyfall books do seem rather high.

    Amazon pricing is odd with the third-party sellers. I think many of the prices are set by an automated system. I've seen one seller appear at a lower price and suddenly the price of several other sellers drops as well. Once the low price item sells the others go back up.

    Just keep checking.

    I've got all the Daniel Craig Bond books. I got Casino Royale and Q of S from Alibris. Prices vary
    but if patient can get copies in excellent condition for reasonable price

    i got very lucky when in WHSmith once, looking for another book I just thought I'd have a quick look in the film section, it's usually pretty lacking. Found the QoS book for £26, so snapped it up instantly, when I got to the till to pay it scanned at £14! Guy behind the counter said "hmm, that's cheap.... sod it, not my money" and let me have it for £14.

    I was so chuffed I completely forgot what I originally went in for :))

    You could perhaps try abebooks too. I got a Dennis Wheatley book a lot cheaper from them than it was on Amazon.

    I just did a research on the Internet and apparently the same QoS book is available in French with the publisher Tournon. The books were edited in 2008 and are in French. Available for only $20...

    I suggest picking up a cheaper French one whilst your looking bursteardrum, got mine today (new condition one) from a seller on Amazon.fr for EUR 23! Sure I don't understand all the text but I get the gist and I'm hoping I can ask the next French agent provocateur I run into to translate. Besides its all about the pictures anyway!

    And pick up the Spectre one from TKMaxxx like Jellyfish mentioned!
