Very nice collection! It's always great to have an insight into how these clothes, books, memorabilia  etc are presented inside a collectors home.

Look how neat and organised that is! I could browse for hours....

Thanks. Thinking about Pan collection. Any way, It is hard to keep up with all the new Bond related books. When ever I am going to find the time to read them all.

Sorry about that. Anyway I noticed my post is deleted (by the moderators? ). Perhaps I was too off topic. Sorry.

Re: The Most Famous Gun In The World

Another big surprise for me was discovering that the Sig P210 used by Bond in QOS, was in fact a standard model with a coin sunk into the grips and rub on gold leaf transfers make it look like one of the 50th anniversary P210 produced in 1999 to mark its anniversary of 50 years as the official pistol of the Swiss Army (1949-1999).

Re: The Most Famous Gun In The World

I had high expectations as this glossy publication comes from THE subject expert and THE source for outstanding Bond in print. The layout is excellent and attractive. It reads quickly yet I gleaned much information—fascinating details fill every page.

The photos and text are an invaluable reference for anyone even mildly interested in guns, James Bond history, movie making and the gee-whiz film technicians who create special effects. It would be difficult to overpraise this beautiful volume.

It is written in a conversational style, which is a good thing (like a friend talking to you about amazing collectibles and collecting stories rather than sitting to read some academic paper) but some sentences are lengthy. So there are sentences I had to reread multiple times to savor all that was being said and to comprehend everything. I volunteer to edit the text if there is a reprinting of this volume.

Please take the above paragraph in the kind spirit in which it is intended. This volume is worth far more than its cover price. A treasure!

Re: The Most Famous Gun In The World

I don't want to be impatient, but it's been 20 days since I ordered this issue and it still hasn't arrived. I'm curious if anyone else in the US had ordered a copy and how long it took. 007 Magazine told me they don't opt for tracking because of the expense.

Same here. Ordered my copy on January 20, 2017 but nothing yet. Forwarded a mail to 007 Magazine but no response. I live in The Netherlands.

I ordered this on the strength of ASP9MM's endorsement.
