    Basically anything post OP is more violent than the first 13 films IMO. OHMSS possible exception

    I think brozzer is rated as the highest body count.
    It was either that.....or the priesthood

    Tomorrow Never Dies was pretty violent.

    Carver having the Devonshire sailors shot and recording it.

    Bond stamping on a guard's head. (In the 15 rated cut)

    Bond punching the goon in the red blazer into the printing press. The blood looked cartoonish, which lessens the impact.

    Stamper drilling into the Devonshire and getting a sadistic kick out of it.

    Carver's death.
    Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"

    Licence to Kill by a longshot! (The women beating, the head exploding, the suggested raping of Felix's wife, lots of blood, the shark feeding, the Bond villian being burned alive, Heller's body being pierced by a forklift and the list goes on and on!)

    LICENCE easily as the others are somewhat stylized Road Runner cartoon violence.

    I'm sure I read somewhere that TND has the highest body count of all the Bond films.

    Licence to Kill is the most violent, even though it doesn't have the most deaths. Brosnan's films have so many deaths, but his films are like video games where there's really no meaning to most of the kills.

    Yeah, that's how I feel. If you have fun watching the violence then it's cartoon violence.
    When Bond throws Carver into the drill it's not revolting. We don't see his body ground, his bones snapping or his skull pop open.
    LTK is certainly the most violent IMO.
    Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

    That's an interesting point. I would say it almost reminds me of old-school guns n grenades style war films like The Longest Day where the deaths are mostly bloodless and instant. No limbs are being blown off. No one is being wounded or maimed.

    Guys just keel over in groups when the machine gun is waved at them.

    By comparison the short, but intense tunnel shootout in Octopussy has always impressed me as being genuinely violent.

    This 007 kill count article may be of interest:

    My current 10 favorite:

    1. GE 2. MR 3. OP 4. TMWTGG 5. TSWLM 6. TND 7. TWINE 8.DN 9. GF 10. AVTAK

    Yes, that was an interesting article.
    I read once that TSWLM was the first Bond film where machine-gun victims are seen to bleed, which isn't something I've checked. Certainly there's been blood seen on shooting victims as far back as DN (Strangways' secretary Mary Trueblood being the earliest), but that wasn't from a machine-gun.

    Anonymous deaths in a war are never as violent as one-on-one fights that end in something gruesome. YOLT and TSWLM have the most kills from Connery and Moore, respectively, but neither are each actor's most violent Bond film going by the way the kills happen.

    Otago University, believe it or not, did a study on this very topic back in 2011.

    The unedited scene in QOS where Bond stabs the guy in hotel room in Haiti. Not only does the guy get it in the carotid with (seamstress scissors, rather weirdly) but he stabs him in the leg with a knife to keep him still whole he bleeds out. Yes, there's other possibly more gruesome scenes but this was very real.

    The stair case fight scene in CR ,was pretty vicious ,the African man in his death throw ,his feet kicking out whilst our hero was throttling him ,was very realistic .
    By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

    Yes I think that this is one of the best fight scenes in the whole series. Very realistic. -{

    Back in 1989 or 1990 I bought the UK VHS of LTK, and a years or two later acquired the US version which was slightly less edited (eg Dario's and Sanchez's deaths). At the time a great deal was made of the increased level of violence in the film compared to its predecessors, and that's always coloured my view of it being the most violent Bond movie.
    QoS has a lot in common with it (here's an article which may be of interest http://entertainmentguide.local.com/parallels-between-license-kill-quantum-solace-7533.html) and IMHO runs LTK a close second in the violence stakes.

    ^ I remember skipping the UK version of LTK and buying the Dutch version as it was the least edited -{

    No...the US version wouldn't play on my VHS player :))

    I believe the Dutch version was 'more complete' too...?

    Indeed ! But it didn't stop Eon milking the cow - I've lost count of how many different editions I have on VHS :o

    Foolishly I bought Betamax back in the day. I taped Bond movies from TV, then bought them on Betamax, then on VHS, then the Special (or whatever) editions... all gone now. Then the whole process started again with DVD... you get the picture (no pun intended). I'm resisting converting everything to Blu Ray, on which I only have SF and SP.
