Just a heads-up for UK viewers, on Fri 24 March Puppet on a Chain, the Alistair Maclean movie is at 1.15am BBC channel, oh haven't got that, never mind you will find it.
Someone posted a link to a speedboat chase similar to the LALD one only it's set in Amsterdam. Movie precedes LALD, so prob inspired it. May be worth a look. It's on a bit late, though.
