trailer shown with noncomp 747

I am not sure if anyone else noticed but I did. This does not matter, but I guess just for the sake of informing the Bond fans it would be right.

If you take a look at trailer 2 from the Casino Royale movie you will notice that the big jetliner that was going to be blown up was not actually computer adapted to the screen when the trailer was shown.

Take a look:

The green patches that are seen on the side of the fuselage of this Boeing 747-200 is there to probably help the computer program adapt the second floor which was seen in the movie. In addition to this you can see that the actual aircraft is white and not white, blue, and yellow as seen in the movie.

Interesting find...so often movie trailers are full of little bits that never made it into the movie. I never thought about missing FX, though.

I saw the filming of the scene where they drove through the belly of a plane (which was subsequently cut from the finished film) on a tv show and it was really impressive. Hope that its going to be on the deleted scenes on the DVD :)

Theres a shot of the Venice house sinking in the trailer. It consisted of that building, and one either side to it. However in the final movie that shot's changed so that it includes a whole row of house, boats and a cafe on the opposite bank too.

I have known about this since the movie came out, I just thought that no one would find it interesting. Nice to see that many of you found it interesting.

I'm not sure, just to be safe, you might want to change it to a link.

Great catch... that's the sort of thing that one doesn't think to look for but should, with the advent of more CGI in mainstream films.

I'm sure someone will change it to a link if you need to. I would imagine you would have to though. Although it is a freely distributed trailer intended to promote the film.

A small thought occoured to me, all the airlines (save Virgin) are fictional. They probably didnt even go to the trouble to paint them specific colours to just fix it in post.

I don't think so. I would have to see the movie again.
