    Roger Moore.

However, Pierce Brosnan's Tomorrow Never Dies was my very first exposure to the character filmicly (the James Bond Jr. cartoon being my first exposure to the character in general).

I was born really pre Bond, 1949, but Fleming may have working on the concept. The first of the books I read was DR NO, a year before the film came out.

Timothy Dalton was Bond when I was born in 1988. I assume he was making LTK at the time. Since it was released in 89.

BBC Four repeated some of those shows some years ago. :D

I was born in April of '89, months before the release of LTK. Strange to think I was born during Dalton's tenure, as Brosnan was THE Bond I grew up with, and the current Bond when I became a true fan.

TND was my first exposure as well. My parents had rented it from blockbuster and I came through the door from school right when Bond boarded the jet in the PTS. From there I was hooked!

I was born in Dalton's tenure and grew up with Connery and Moore. Brosnan came later, then Dalton and Lazenby.

Is it possible for those who were born in the Brosnan era (1994-2004), would have a baby born in Daniel Craig's era?

The older PB era-born ones are old enough to get married and have children.

'98, Brosnan. As a young kid I loved Brosnan and didn't really like Craig. As as seven year old (2006) I didn't know that CR was a reboot and thought Craig was the same as Brosnan. So I didn't like it that the gunbarrel was gone at the start. Later it all made sence and CR is my favourite, same goes for Craig. Still like Brosnan as Bond, bit not as much as I love DC in the role.

I did grew up with all the Bondfilms and games.

As I was born in January 1971, it's not that clear who Bond was really, or perhaps one of the more knowledgeable people here could shed some light.

The last released film was OHMSS, so was it Lazenby still at the helm of the franchise, or could it be Connery, even though filming for Diamonds didn't start until April 1971?

My earliest Bond memory is seeing the Octopussy television debut advertisement in TV Guide.

Connery's comeback was announced around mid-1970, I think.

Yes, I recall reading that the producers wanted rid of Lazenby when he turned up to the Royal Premiere with a beard and long hair, so would imagine Connery would be announced sometime in 1970.

But therein lies my quandary - the latest Bond film was OHMSS and therefor Lazenby could be considered as the incumbent Bond, although Connery had been announced. However, as audiences had already seen Connery in the role, they knew roughly what to expect, so was Connery the current Bond in the public's mind?

Either way, I was born into a world with a really great Bond, unlike those born in the late 80's! :#
