Its my understanding that EON owns the rights to at least the John Gardner novels (though how his use of SPECTRE and Blofeld fits into their rights is a mystery to me). I always thought there were some good titles and storylines in some of those novels. As to my choice...

    Nobody Lives Forever

...a great title, a pretty good read, and maybe even somewhat relevant to the series current creative direction: substitute Quantum for SPECTRE putting a price on Bond's head after he has foiled their plans on two occasions and you have the beginnings of a pretty good adventure that has links to the prior films while not necessarily having to be a direct sequel. You could probably work a good theme song around that title as well.

Eat Cheese or Die would be the title for Bond 23.

How about Tomorrow is Another Day to Die Twice with a Golden Spy?

But seriously folks..... I vote for Property of a lady--the Lady in question could be Vesper and it could end the trilogy.

OHMSS is the #1 well known Bond acronym in the series. :007)

I too vote for Property of a Lady. But it no longer makes much sense to have the title refer to Vesper. They could easily have done that with QoS, but the shadow of Vesper won't hang over Bond 23 like it did in QoS. If Bond 23 is Property of a Lady the lady should be the queen, M and Bond's love interest or female enemy.

    How about Cold Fall?
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Ooh, terrible book- maybe Gardner's worst.

I like Scorpius as a title...

But I don't expect any Gardner titles to be used by Eon...wouldn't they have to purchase options anew? They're more likely to just conjure them up from whole cloth...though I continue to hope that some of the cooler Fleming chapter titles might be considered.

    Quadrant of Slaphead

I wonder if anyone here understands that reference?

MGW is on record saying that he (ie EON) won't be using any of the continuation novels for films (although some Gardner material did turn up in AVTAK and TLD, obviously by pure coincidence...).

    I suggest *Hell or Highwater*.
But just so we're clear, if they do use it, I want a mention in the credits.

I swear some of these suggested titles have been stolen from Steven Segal films!

    :)
