QOS poster question

Does anyone out there know the answer to this question? My apologies if this has been discussed before.
Was the lone shot of Bond with the machine gun shot just for the poster or was there something cut from the movie? I remember seeing a making of video of this being shot but it could have just been a photo shoot for the poster. Just wondered if anyone knew. Thanks.

im pretty sure it was just a publicity photo and shot just for the trailer,i cant see it fitting into the film properly
