Sorry if someone has already mentioned this but. In Dr No Bond says Ciao to Moneypenny as
He leaves the office. While in LALD Moneypenny also says Ciao to Bond on leaving his home ?
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
In regards to Bond asking quarrel to fetch his Shoes, I don't think anything racist was meant by it.
Perhaps not, but it certainly comes across that way. Maybe I'm especially sensitive to it as a Black man who has occasionally been spoken to that way by White people, but I wince every time I view that scene.
Yes I agree. I am white and find that line a bit offensive towards Quarrel.

It does indeed jar. However it has some counterweight in as much as Bonds fury at Quarel's death which he clearly does feel, particularly in the novel.
Of that of which we cannot speak we must pass over in silence- Ludwig Wittgenstein.
Both feature a secondary double agent Bond girl. Further, Bond is well aware of it and sleeps with them anyway (LALD is a little more questionable, but Moore does say that he wouldn't have killed her before he slept with Rosie).
Film: Tomorrow Never Dies | Girl: Teresa di Vicenzo | Villain: Max Zorin | Car: Aston Martin Volante | Novel: You Only Live Twice | Bond: Sir Sean Connery
I'm resurrecting an old thread again 😁. Here are some I thought of:
Bond gets a hostile reception from the locals upon initially meeting them - Quarrel is hostile towards Bond in DN as are the locals following Bond's arrival in Harlem in LALD
Bond uses "normal" gadgets to aid him in his mission - the Geiger counter in DN and the morse code transmitter in LALD
Scenes involving Bond with Honey in DN and Rosie in LALD near water are in similar locations
Bond lands on both the villains' islands under the cover of darkness
Bond protecting Honey from the bullets on the beach in DN is similar to how Bond protects Soliatire from the shots from the helicopter in LALD
Bond is left alone by the villains only to escape unnoticed - Bond escapes his prison cell in DN and also escapes being eaten by the crocodiles in LALD
Has anyone else noticed that there are some similarities between the films of the Connery and Moore eras? That in most cases, the Moore films are somewhat remakes of Connery's films?
Live and Let Die - Dr No
Both are set in Jamacia, both spend time establishing the Bond character, and in both Bond has to uncover the identity of a secret villain who's killing people.
The Man with the Golden Gun - Diamonds Are Forever
Both films have cheap production and silly plot elements, focusing more on comedy.
The Spy Who Loved Me - You Only Live Twice
These two films are epic adventures on a grand scale in which Bond has to overcome a villain that threatens to bring about the end of civilisation.
Moonraker - You Only Live Twice
Moonraker is basically a remake of Spy, drawing on that film's plot and the silliness of YOLT.
For Your Eyes Only - From Russia with Love
Two tense cold war thrillers that are far more subdued than most of the other films in the series.
Octopussy - Thunderball
Two large scale films in which the first half shows Bond enjoying life in a foreign location, while the second half is more tense and serious as Bond works to overcome a nuclear threat.
A View to a Kill - Goldfinger
Both films have Bond tracking down an industrialist who's set on destroying some aspect of society so that he can profit.
