    I read Shoot To Kill, just finished it and overall I was very much impressed, Sihouette man i would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the novel. There were some lovely references to Hoagy Carmichael and even the James Bond theme tune in one moment! Overall I felt Bond had matured more from Higson's novels and Cole did a fantastic job of writing for children and adults.

    I recently got a copy and am planning to review it on my blog when I get it read. :) -{

    It's good, ae?
    The books increase in quality. With Higson moving away from Bond's school life to overseas adventures etc

    Currently reading Shoot To Kill. So far I am enjoying it. Bond is indeed slightly more mature in this book. His previous escapades have definitely had an affect on him. He is more suspicious of events and is trying to understand all that is going on around him. His natural curiosity and sense of danger makes for good characterisation. I won't give too much away but it is indeed a worthy entry into the Bond Cannon and sits well with Higson's novels. Steve Cole the author has written Doctor Who and Astrosaurs - I wonder if it was predominantly this tale that got him chosen to write this novel?

    Just finished Shoot To Kill. Not as good as the Higson adventures, too many anachronisms and cliches, but a few nice touches.
