SPECTRE Bluray & DVD

Details have been released in regards to the release date of SPECTRE on Digital HD, Bluray and DVD.

Have to say, I quite like the poster but disappointed that for the second film in a row, the poster is also the DVD cover near enough.

Would have liked to have seen an original cover done but oh well, guess it's what inside the case that matters.

    Can't wait for this as I only manged one viewing at the cinema. It will be interesting to see if people's opinion of this film will change once they've seen a few times at home?

    I really don't like that picture of Dan, it's very unflattering with that truck-with-the-high-beams-on lighting. 8-)

    22 January on USA iTunes HD release!!! {[] Just over 2 weeks to go!!

    Seems US getting it early to make up for them getting the Theatre release late!!!!

    Love the poster. Love the DVD cover. Can't wait to add it to my collection. Although, I saw it 5 times in the cinema and it will be kinda discouraging to watch it on my small screen. Oh well…

    Very easy:

    First of all you are buying cinema tickets
    Then you pay for the itunes download
    Then you pay for the Blu Ray/ DVD

    It's just why milking the cow only once when you can get it multiple times ;)

    Can't wait for this! It's a pretty early release too! (Atleast I think so, can't really remember how early Skyfall was released after being in cinema)

    I think rule of thumb is around 4 months from cinema release to dvd/streaming release, can't come quick enough for me I think a second and third viewing will herald some new details I missed at the cinema

    While back in the day, it takes roughly 6-8 months to transition from cinema to VHS. Now it is only a matter of 3-4 months.

    Imagine the old days before even vhs, after the cinema release
    It could take between seven to eight years before you'd get to
    see it again on TV :D. I think in the future, you'll be able to buy
    the download when it's showing at the cinema.

    I think it will ( Behold, I have spoken!) :))
    Simply because the technology is there, and many people have home
    Cinemas, or at least huge TV 's . so for an extra charge I can see companies
    Selling downloads.
    It's only a matter of time until the cinema gets their movies via a download
    Themselves, as already they are delivered to cinemas on basically a memory
    Card. :D
    Obviously I could be wrong ( always a first time ) :))

    I think you're right TP cinemas will become an experience venture. I think the price would be high for a new download though, as what's to stop people buying one download and showing at home to twenty people?

    It takes the fun out of anticipation. That's why I don't go to movie as frequent anymore.

    Oh I think there are several problems to get past, perhaps charging a family
    ticket price for one showing, just like renting from Google movies etc, but
    I think it's coming.
    At the moment I've pre ordered the bluray, but I'll also be ordering the download
    from Sky store or Google movies.
