There were also projects to make sequels for both Gladiator and Thelma & Louise, so I don't think talk of Layer Cake sequel proves anything.

His character survives in the book, and Vaughan shot various endings, whether he lived or died was purposely left open.

Anyway, it's your list and if your interpretation is that he died that's fine by me.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Yes, agree to disagree is the best solution.

Did Roger Moore really never die in a movie?

Yes, he does--in 1956's Diane, where he plays Prince Henri (later King Henri V, and son to Pedro Armendariz's King Francois I), Roger comes out the ultimate loser in a joust.

Imagine if Sean Bean got cast as Bond :o
He would win easily since he has died about 25 times on screen.

I can do most of the Dalton ones ... haven't quite seen them all :)

    Wuthering Heights

    Mary Queen of Scots

    Centennial

    Master of Ballantrae

    Mistrals Daughter

    Rocketeer

    Made Men

    Cleopatra

    Marple

Hot Fuzz ??? .... debatable. He is in the police station at the end when it's blown to smithereens so we can assume he is.

Of the ones I've seen ... these are definite

    Thanks, Lady Rose. :007)

I actually saw Dalton in Miss Marple for the first time this week. Good as ever.
So far I've only includes feature films, but I feel that's unfair so I think I'll start including TV. Does that sound OK?

Connery also dies from cancer at the end Finding Forester (2000), his death occurs off camera however. His character in his 1976 movie The Last Man also dies at the end of the film from a gunshot wound. Many years ago, I discovered an interesting website called cinemorgue.com which catalogs death scenes from movies and television programs of actors and actresses. Here is a link:http://www.cinemorgue.com/

All six James Bond actors have a page, as do many of the Bond girls, villains and supporting cast.

Sometimes the internet still surprises me; a whole website dedicated to actors' death scenes. Wow... :s

Lazenby dies in UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, THE MAN FROM HONG KONG, DEATH DIMENSION, and NEVER TOO YOUNG TO DIE. He may have death scenes in other movies, but those are the ones I'm aware of.
