I feel sorry for the security guard here.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

I prefer John Cleese’s take on the role... ;)

Well, it was something completely different

The scene with the guard by the entance getting shot was censored in China.

Is Craig short? Didn't know that.

Ah, Q. I've never cared for Ben's take on the character.

You Sir are near to extermination because of trolling

I certainly wouldn't want you to cry (like your favorite Bond actor, Timothy Dalton).

    :D :D :D :D

Great scene with Bond leaping up to the elevator and clinging on, his shoulder causing him pain

The surreal lights in the background to the stalking and the fight in the high rise... recall Scaramanga's Funhouse

The Bond/Patrice scene is incredibly well shot. SF may be the best shot Bond film ever.

    Beautifully shot scene!

One of the best scenes in the entire movie

Thanks Gymkata. Pity it was a jellyfish and not an octopussy.

Without a doubt the best in my opinion.

I like the detail of the wind when the hole in the glass wall is made.

I find the entire fight too staged and too synced with the lights.
It just doesn‘t flow, looks more like breakdance to me

All of the shots here in this building in Shanghai are shot beautifully. Wonderful use of color.

Patrice was in the great tradition of silent (or at least taciturn) henchmen... Grant, Oddjob, Jaws... not as iconic, but great in this movie

I wouldn't mind (and certainly need) a shave from Eve now :D

It's barely subtext, but SF is a story of a mother with two sons- one turns against her, the other defends her. It's all there if you look for it.

The shaving scene is quite good while I‘d never leave that woman near me with such a knife just after she‘s shot me

and SP is the story of a man with two sons, James Bond and Dr. Evil.

    Touche! :))

I think there's a strong implication, here, that Bond and Eve actually do get it on, after the fade-out (though Mendes denies it, conscious of the tradition that Bond and Moneypenny are never actually supposed to do the deed)

Second best bit of music in the score! (Not Newman's, obviously)
