Henderson is in the book, though the character is totally different.

I was working with a japanese girl who was married to a japanese yakuza.
She looked like Aki, he drove a Corniche Convertible and he took me on a ride in the night thru Tokyo!

That‘s why I had to be back in Tokyo after my failed 1st attempt to Akime

That's fair, but why go in such a completely different direction with Blofeld compared to what we saw in FRWL and TB? It's kinda jarring. Add in that it's a different actor in every film going forward and it's really bizarre.

Same theory as Felix? "Nobody will notice"

To that end, I think re-using Charles Gray again was a mistake. I remember watching this after watching DAF and being really confused regarding the Gray character and whether or not he was Blofeld.

I think Charles Gray is very Fleming-esque... even though Dikko is a very different sort of character in the novel.

I think Gray is fine in both films.

It's totally amazing how a 6'2" Scotsman is indistinguishable from a Japanese even when you have to carry him.

Gray looks rather creepy in some angles

These trigger happy security guards... presumably SPECTRE men deployed at Osato's company rather than just common security guards...

    That‘s not 100% correct.

The car was available as a Coupe, they cut off the roof and converted it to a convertible just for the movie

Tiger's opening laugh... just like the laugh of the FYEO PTS 'Blofeld'. Robert Rietty dubbing?
