Profile of Carver, with spiralling rings of purple light in his background... the lights recall Scaramanga's Fun House

I don't like the drill. How does it wrk after drilling a hole in the hull or a wall? wait on the floor until the room floods? I trained dolphines attaching limpet mines to the hull would have been better.

Actually it's mostly in our imagination. The mine massacre in AVTAK was far more brutal.

This movie could be released today and would not be out of place at all—as relevant as ever.

Stamper has a fashionable 90s gay look with his wardrobe of tight fitting short sleeve tops

The Danish professor in Oxford, meanwhile, has an incredible body...

Lois Maxwell was pure class as Moneypenny. Samantha Bond is beautifully mischievous!

Arnold delivers the Bond theme trad style. A real relief after Kamen and Serra.

M's office... on the move, in the car... keeps up the pace

But it doesn't feel right for M to be partaking in the innuendo... 'pumping' Paris for info.

Yes, great scene! Just curious though, is the head of MI6 important enough to get a police escort while traveling?
