I‘d say that Greene and Kristatos are similarly boring.....

Greene would give Elvis' hairpiece to be creepy. Just boring.

    Wonderful music, wonderful skiing action.
Probably the best ski chase ever in a movie!

Another classic Thesp who has thankfully kept busy, Charles Dance.
Although he doesn’t get a lot to do here, he does stoic wonderfully!

He has recently been Lord Mountbatten in The Crown.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I don't like Conti's music here at all.

Greene was creepy, Kristatos was just boring.

Kristatos makes for a good 'red herring' initially, but when he's supposed to be an out and out villain later on he's still a bit too Norman Normal.

I like the music, but I can see Barbel’s point..... the high notes are very like BBC Sports Ski Sunday!
Must be all the pro skiing and winter sports influences..

I know it's not necessarily a popular opinion, but I do enjoy the 'Ski...Shoot...Jump' cue on the expanded soundtrack release. But it is certainly nothing compared to the energetic, disco-fueled glory of 'Runaway' which comes directly after it in the film.

It's a tone thing- he's being directed to contrast with his predecessors (Drax, Scaramanga etc) even in full villain mode. Blame Glen, not Glover, if you disagree. Glover could certainly have played it "big" in a different film.

Tragically, a stuntman was killed during the bob sequence. This was widely reported at the time but is scarcely mentioned since in Eon-approved merchandise (books/commentaries)

Yes, he is full scale Baddie in The Last Cruisade.... for that matter, he does conniving brilliantly as General Veers in ESB. He should have been the ground commander in Jedi too.

That's true, but I think they could have given him a bit more of an edge, even in the realistic mode. Though I do love his later, "Ah, leave him.." when one of his lackeys is knocked overboard and left as prey for the sharks...
