Madagascar shirt color dying

So I saw a post on here regarding how the Royale Filmwear madagascar shirt color is a bit too white and that a solution to that would be dying it using the following method:

4 gallons of Very hot water
1.25 teaspoons of Rit Golden Yellow
1/4 teaspoon of Rit Fuchsia
Mix thoroughly

Has anyone else used this method and has it successfully worked?
