Hi Dex, all great options! I currently own the Tetbury, Molton, and Pembroke from Crockett and Jones. As far as sizing goes, for me they all run the same. What's really convenient is the fact that DC and I are basically the same size in everything... from shoes to clothes. So when I ordered my first pair, I inquired with Crockett and Jones with regard to sizing throughout the lasts and styles. They said DC takes the same size in all his CJ shoes. So I did the same and couldn't be happier!

With regard to the different styles you're asking about, the one thing I didn't take into account when deciding between the Tetbury or the Norwich at the time, was the fact that it bothers me when my pant leg covers up the laces. Just a weird thing that I don't like... so looking back I should've gone with the Norwich as they are a derby so the laces come closer toward the toe. However, I'm very happy with the quality, look, and style of all the pairs I own and am so glad I have them!

Anyway, I'm sure you'll be happy with any pair you decide on as they're so comfortable and just elevate any suit with regard to style!

Hi I’ve got all of these plus Camberley and Moltons. I love them all and will get more the tetburys very flexible as I wear them with suits but also smart casual

As others have noted - it is a rare C&J shoe that isn't magnificent. The Highbury are wonderful and perhaps the most versatile for me - Bond himself using them all the way up to Black tie - and they polish up like a dream. Tetbury are the cool option and also very good in the autumn/winter seasons about town when a little extra leather can make a big difference - though I personally prefer the Camberley. Norwich are great traditional derby and they also retain the Dainite sole as standard. The Highbury now have the new City sole as standard (I think you can request Dainite) which has more feel; great for chasing henchmen across a hotel lobby but can seem a little less robust going through puddles!

I have a pair of Highburys, I’ve had them for many, many years and I find them to be very comfortable. An advantage they and the Twtbury may have depending on your foot size and shape is that without any stitching across the front, the Norwich has a cap, then the uppers are going to stretch and mould just that tiny bit more. That may be helpful to you, you may not need it.

The Highbury is the most versatile but there isn’t a lot in it.

If you look after them, they’ll last you many, many years.

If you are only able to buy one pair, as others have said, Highbury for me all the way. Beautiful shoe that works at every level and can also hold a high shine if you need it for black tie.

If you can get two pairs, I’d definitely go Highbury and Roughed Out Suede Molton’s. I was lucky enough to be in on the bespoke run of these before they bought them out for NTTD. I absolutely adore that boot and it gets better and better the more it gets worn.

Whatever you get, you really won’t go wrong - enjoy!

    Yes. Considerably.

Thanks for your input Gents.I might get 2 pairs. I really do like the Highbury, but prefer the Dainite sole on the Tetbury & Norwich. I have plenty of chukka boots in suede so the Molton aren't on my radar at the moment.

Well, whether you get one or two pairs Dex, I doubt you will regret it.

C&J are one of the ‘marquee’ brands that have never disappointed IMHO.

    Yes. Considerably.

The nice thing about living a few miles from the factory itself is the factory shop where prices are 1/3 of retail and you can have a chat with the girls that make them .

I have three pairs of C&J and love them all. They all fit beautifully, look great, are very comfortable, and even though I wear them a lot, they still are in perfect shape. One of my favourite things is opening the box the first time and smelling that amazing leather.

I recently picked up a pair of the Alex shoes. My first purchase with C&J. They fit like slippers and are so comfortable. Can’t recommend them enough.
