For some reason I'm commenting late here, but as a Cushing fan (last night: "The Mummy") I appreciated the drawings above though they were overshadowed by the splendid one of Charles Gray being a lot more villainous than he was allowed to be as Blofeld.
That's a nice Fleming drawing, too, and Caroline Munro looks good (of course). I believe that she and Valerie Leon have become good friends through meeting so often at Bond or Hammer conventions.
I dont go a whole hog on some of these pics, but this one is particularly striking. The contrast between the shadowing and the sudden burst of angelic light is very evocative of the noir. The female figure is also excellently toned and I like the way we can't quite determine if she is wearing panties. It's extremely erotic and very enticing. Does anyone know if it is a representation of a book / movie / person etc ?
I like how there were separate specialty magazines on the topics of high heels, and stockings. enough demand for both, and you know some readers might be interested in one topic but not the other
CoolHand would you have any more covers of prewar scifi pulp magazines?

The superhero above Zorro is The Black Bat. Very similar to Batman they first appeared at the same time in 1939 (although an earlier version didn’t wear a costume). DC and Thrilling Publications had a court case which was settled with both houses being able to continue with their respective heroes. For those who don’t know the other heroes are Green Hornet, Kato, The Shadow and the aforementioned Zorro.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Some…err…rather lovely covers there ☺️
I did particularly like The Flimsy Report’s tag line of “I not only read it - but sent in 69 pages of information!” 🤭
Nice art of Lon Jr and Bela in "Ghost Of Frankenstein ". "Halloween" I never took to.
Some slight more decorous pinups there, still good ones.
Good to see you enjoying this thread, gents.

@chrisno1 It’s from a 1963 paperback book called “Charlie Sent Me”, the artwork is by Robert McGinnis, so no surprise in it being so good.
Bond…
Pin-ups…
I think I need something dusting 😮
This reminds me of the fashion designer Paul Smith’s Naked Lady range…😁
They remind me of the calendars that used to be stuck to the wall in workshops.
I hope they were just stuck to the wall with a pin 😳

@caractacus potts The pulp magazine covers have proved to be popular, so many more will be posted in due course, including the sci-fi genre 😁

Nice Hammer Hound artwork. I like the vintage car ad and wouldn't mind seeing more of those.
Question- Who's the hero above Zorro? I recognise the others.
