    Lol!

You won't find it on Google 24.

Nublix, pronounced "Noo-Blee-kcs" is from Men In Black. Its the Arkellian way of saying "Cheers!"

Corona, Peroni and ay other type of light ale is welcome. But remember C.H.E.E.K.S unlike the A.R.S.E, never sleeps,

she can't by nature of her programming and function. So don;t do anything to set her off.

(Growling and mewling form the Kitchen) Alright Holly, I know its your tea time. I'll be in in a minute.

(Tapping noises bordering on thumping from under the sideboard)

Don't You get started Freddie! Honestly it sometimes feels like feeding time at Octopussy's circus, it really does!

I hear Octoberfest in Munich is canceled this year. Our thoughts are with you in these dark and difficult times, Higgins. πŸ˜”

If it helps to know 24, I already have the Grosen Uber Jugs ready for October, so we will still be able to do it here in the SABs.

Part of me wonders how all this will affect things in the long term. If the Pandemic has clarified anything, its that life and social interaction will never be quite the same, even with the vaccination. Talking of spreading things.....

    BARBEL!!! Breakfast is ready!!

(Holly hops onto a Bar stool and looks enquiringly at TB2)

Chopped chicken pieces gently steaming as you sit there staring at me cat! Ready in another three minutes.

Cats fed, A.R.S.E. diagonostic complete, C.H.E.E.K.S software package uploaded... (C.H.E.E.K.S giggles micheviously)

Yes dear! Um, Glasses cleaned and stored, pudding ready, fire grate cleaned out, the toilets... descaled.

Delivery put away, paintings polished, tables wiped.

    Where is everyone?!

I'm here, TB2. Busy thinking up more Imaginary Conversations.

  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 21,701MI6 Agent

I'm here too. What am I thinking off? Well, I'm..... thinking.

  • ChriscoopChriscoop Belize Posts: 10,449MI6 Agent

I'm here too, just quietly sat in the corner sipping on my scotch and reading this week's copy of "Mi6 weekly" interesting article on Russia's new interest in their Arctic military installations ....@Number24 seems they've been observing Norwegian spy planes πŸ€”. Also an article on how they built cold war ships......it's a rivetting read !

It was either that.....or the priesthood
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 21,701MI6 Agent

It may surprise you after years of reading my posts, but Norway is big on intelligence. 😏

There are many listening stations spread accross the country, one of them can even be seen in a short scene in TSWLM. Our military inteligence has two large and very modern ships and a fleet of Orion surveilance planes are being replaced by the P-8 planes, the biggest and best surveilance planes available.

Norway is even a member of the real Nine Eyes.

  • ChriscoopChriscoop Belize Posts: 10,449MI6 Agent

No I'm not surprised at all to hear of Norway's intelligence operations. Apparently it the Arctic is seeing largest upscale of military activity since ww2, russians have bastion missiles up there as well.

It was either that.....or the priesthood
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 21,701MI6 Agent

Yes. Russia practises attacks on Norwegian military instalations, only redirecting thor planes minutes before reaching Norwegian territory. They jam signal for planes to navigate by in our county furthest to the north, hack our parliament and move more forces to new bases near Norway. In spite of this they Dare to claim it's NATO and Norway militarizing the Arctic.

Okay, So I haven't been here in months because I've been super busy, and then I login in and don't recognise the place! Got a facelift and a half!

    WOWIE. I'm in shock.

Hope everyone is well. Is there any big news I've missed?

I have come here to seek refuge from that most infectious plague, known here as Grand Prix and in many countries as Eurovision Song Contest. If more want to find a safe place from all those europudding ballads, disco in punk and glitter and wild attention - seeking stage shows (some years ago they even had an actual bearded lady) then please join me. I may have critizised the US from time to time, but in this they are completely innocent. Not only innocent, but an island of freedom far away from all things ESC. πŸ‘

One of the usual barkeeper, please.

Usual it is 24. (Pint of Coke Zero is placed on the bar)

I had no idea that Pussy has gone walkabout again... I thought he was downstairs in the science lab!

Re "that competition" I have gone from watching it start to finish when I was a small boy to now only checking online the next day to see who won, and that is that! Friends have suggested I should visit them so we can watch it together and have a laugh with good food and alcohol. I have countered that I will only do that if I can wear evening attire.

Something in off shoulder full length satin, with matching high heels. So far, they have neither confirmed nor denied! πŸ˜„

(Thunderbird 2 is loking at his laptop doing the books. There is a xonsistant tapping noise of the keys.

Holly is delicately snoozing in her basket, her tail twitching occasionally. Snoring comes from under the sideboard. Clearly Freddie is not as quiet in his sleep as his Mother!

The A.R.S.E. and C.H.E.E.K.S, are both doing quiet normal scans. Both give a mild contented humming, processing to themselves.

TB2 stops work and prepares to turn in. He spots an update email. It leads here...)

..Walking into an empty pub, wiping away the cobwebs from the door frame..

Perhaps it's just me, but is this place becoming quieter by the day? Just feels there isn't quite the same banter there once was, fewer posts. Not felt quite the same since TP left? Please feel free to tell me I'm talking nonsense.

    Helps self to wee dram.

I think as well as the prolific and much-missed TP not being here another factor is the changeover to the new Vanilla forum software in March. I personally think the new software is great and the site has never looked better but I know it takes time for people to get used to something new. Some members have possibly been put off by getting used to the new forum features. Another possibility is Bond burnout with all of the highly publicised NTTD delays. Some members have probably got a bit fed up with the whole Bond thing or are trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible. Just some thoughts on why it might be a bit quieter than normal on AJB at the minute.
