Now that Sean has discovered this piece of memorabilia... who would like to see us do a run?

I can help with some more photos or details/measurements if and when required @Indy Magnoli
It's a very rare item so probably doing a run is the only way people can get their hands on one of these, for the Goldeneye Monaco look.
I’m here
Yes!
I would be interested!
We got a decent response on our IG story poll, so I think we will proceed with this. Sean, I'll shoot you an e-mail so we can iron out the details!

@The Red Kind - I’d just like to take this opportunity to publicly thank you for the mention you gave to AJB007 - it was very much appreciated 🍸
You're very welcome @Sir Miles
AJB007 is a wonderful place, full of wonderful people that just happen to share their love of Bond. Proud to be a part of the community.
Is this the one you are all talking about?
Yes, that's the one!

Interested.
Very strange this ‘hobby’…
For 29 years I never even noticed he was wearing a cravat in this scene.
For far longer, I’ve never worn a cravat.
And now… I want one.
Indy- would you be able to recreate the Blue shirt too? I think that Matt mentioned to me once that it was by Sulka. It has a subtle check. Here are the pics that were posted on BondLifestyle

Haha - I never noticed either
In some ways I kind of think those opening GE scenes are the worst Bond has ever dressed- as others have previously observed, by the time he boards Xenia's yacht he's gone full Alan Partridge. But I do respect the cravat - there can't have been many other 90s action heroes sporting one! 😁
Yes, we certainly could. I'd have to look to see if we can find a similar microcheck in the market. If not, we could always print it ourselves. Shoot us an e-mail to discuss further.

I wonder if I can hijack for a moment… do you have any appetite to make the tie Brosnan is wearing on the BA plane at the beginning of the second act of Die Another Day?
This one -
Yes, we're actually looking into this now...

Someone on instagram in the Bond community has this tie but in a different color variation. But it could help with achieving the pattern & scale.
I won that tie on eBay many years ago but the sender sent the wrong tie and the right one to someone else
If someone could remember who that could be immensely helpful!

Fantastic news, I’ll keep checking back, I’ll have one the moment they’re ready.
I have to disagree. Bond looks great in Goldeneye. That style is far more relevant to tasteful dressing than the shrunken suits and nut-hugging trousers of the Craig era.
As for the cravat itself, it’s one of my favorite wardrobe touches from Lindy Heming. She really put a lot of thought into what Bond’s clothes should say about the character.
I don't dislike the cravat, but I find that it's much more James St John Smythe than it is James Bond. I don't think it says the right thing about the character. The blazer, on the other hand, is classic Bond. By the 1990s it had fallen out of favour for younger men in England, but in America everyone was wearing blazers.
Is someone going to post a pic of themselves sporting their new cravat?
I like the way Brosnan wears his - barely visible under an open collar shirt and a round neck sweater.
But one should tread very carefully.
One day there’ll be a subtle hint of color peeking out from the neck of a shirt a la Goldeneye and Cary Grant in To Catch A Thief, but in no time at all you could be going full Urban Composition posting for Instagram pics on your front doorstep wearing paisley silk pajamas and a brocade dressing gown like you’re Noel bloody Coward. It’s a very slippery slope.
Considering how many on this board look to replicate CraigBond's various styles I think you're on dodgy ground there! 😁
As I remember, even at the time going for a cravat and double breasted blazer was more Prince Charles at best (and Alan Partridge at worst, as mentioned), and then he ends up going boyband a bit by the time he's on the beach in Cuba. I also wonder if Brosnan's Bond didn't wear a suit a bit too often in situations where it wasn't always needed- it could feel a bit forced: I like that the other Bonds didn't stay formal so much of the time.
