I haven't seen all the episodes but I think it's a great idea for a
Detective show. You'd think the perfect time to hide a murder
    Would be during a war.

    :))
    "There's been a murder!"
"But, sir, there's a war going on...!"
    "EXACTLY. The perfect crime!"

...I kinda just read that in Poirot's voice. No idea why.

But Gary B is hilarious... just as he was on CBB !

I couldn't believe both Star and Dionne wanted their names
On the kiddies Book ( big Egos, there) , so far a bit of bullying
Seems to work, last week David Cassidy was pushed around
Like a kid, and he was the one fired. :D

It seems that Donald doesn't like character flaws being used as reason to fire someone... Both David and Lisa had issues with their teams... but because they (David and Lisa) didn't highlight the performance issues (instead they used character traits as reasons) Donald got rid of them. Which, in essence... is right.

I can see that, but it does keep my the idea that the Best way to run
a team ( as management) is to be a Bully. :#

No, the best way not to be fired is to go after the issues that caused the team to lose, NOT "they're nasty people... and I don't like them" - Business is not run successfully that way - like the line from QoS "Yeh, because we should only do business with nice people."

Donald doesn't stand for wimps... he wants team members that can distinguish between behaviours that lead to a successful job, or for those to point out where that didn't happen. And Lisa would still be in it, if she went after the 'concept' angle being flawed, rather than, "I'm being picked on" - and I agree with him.

The second series of Mr. Selfridge starts soon, so that'll be my Sunday nights planned. ;) Top Gear will probably be back soon too. It better not clash with Mr. Selfridge like last year!

Apart from QI on Friday nights & the other occasional programme like breakfast news, I don't watch TV at all. I've never seen any of the programmes you mention.

By the wat Stag, if you like QI. There's a great quiz ( I think it's on
BBC2 now it was on BBC4 ) it's incredibly tough, if during the show
I get two or three answers, I feel fantastic ! :D. Only Connect

Trailer for The Eichmann Show, scheduled for broadcast on BBC Two next Tuesday (20th Jan) at 21.00. The behind-the-scenes true life story of a groundbreaking producer, Milton Fruchtman (Martin Freeman), and blacklisted TV director Leo Hurwitz (Anthony LaPaglia) who, overcoming enormous obstacles, set out to capture the testimony of one of the war's most notorious Nazis, Adolf Eichmann.

    Perhaps Dimbleby's best moment!

When I was nursing I worked longer hours than Mr Pickles says he does. Oh, don't get me wrong, I moaned about them! But I'm sure others have worked longer and harder.
