    The others are there, too- great for anyone who missed them! Ian McKellen makes a fine Goldfinger, Joanna Lumley an excellent Irma Bunt, though I didn't like David Suchet's Dr No.

    David Suchet's Dr No, sounds awfully nasally, or too high pitched :#

    Interesting interview with Honor Blackman. She talks about plastic surgery, her battle with scoliosis, politics, the mansion tax, and her role in Gold's comedy, You, Me and Them. And of course, James Bond. She says that Daniel Craig is a better actor than Sean Connery, the films are no longer like Ian Fleming but more like The Bourne Identity, the character of Bond has changed in ways Fleming never intended, and that Bond can be black.

    'Daniel Craig is a better 007 than Sean Connery' claims the ultimate Bond girl Honor Blackman

    James Bond would have lasted just seven minutes into his last movie Skyfall before succumbing to fatal wounds from a uranium shot if the secret agent played by Daniel Craig was real. A group of medical experts watched the 23rd outing for Ian Fleming's hero and concluded that Bond would have been unlikely to survive to the end of the two hour film, and would have died or been critically injured several times.

    No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die:

    Thanks for posting, AlphaOmegaSin. I found the background info from one of my favorite Bond websites, "Illustrated 007," which I visit frequently. The image is the cover of "The Sunday Times Magazine" - 007 Collectors Issue, cover illustration by Robert McGinnis.

    Well done superado you beat me to it -{ , Found my copy, the magazine is dated 7 November 1999.
    And the inside credits are most certainly to Robert McGinnis and the even more interesting part is that credit for allowing the reproduction of this artwork goes to Thomas Nixdorf a newly enrolled member of AJB 'BondArtCollector' -{

    I was involved slightly with that edition of the magazine, since I was consulted on a few of the points made in a fact-checking way.
    I'd have loved to check all of it, since a few errors did creep in, but it didn't work that way.
