No more of this in public posts, anyone. This is strictly for PMs from now on. I'm friends with both of you and happy to act as go-between if necessary.

I say, there's old ajb007! what ho, ajb007! I thought you'd died in that explosion at Dr Shatterhand's castle.
what's that you say? took a trip to Vladisvostock, but everything that was confusing seems so much clearer now?
well never mind all that! time for a nice beverage. deucedly good to see you again, old forum!

seriously, where did the forum go these last couple days? are we absolutely sure everything is alright?

It was a hosting problem- "excessive resource usage". SiCo has been working on it and hopefully it's sorted for the moment. I believe he has a more permanent plan in mind, but no doubt he'll be commenting on that soon.

This new hosting is currently proving to be a disaster! I will post properly soon. All is ok it’s nuts we’re clinging to a rickety bridge!

AJB is running very slow in the last days.

Am I the only one with that issue?

Slow internet service is one of the signs of the Beast, right there in the Good Book (not OHMSS - the other one) after snow in May. Your catholic upbringing does you credit.

    I blame Brexit.

Brexit is also mentioned in the Bible as one of the signs of Armegeddon. Of course it's not called Brexit in the Bible, it's called Exodus. That's the reason the UK is is still in the EU - many Britons didn't smear lamb's blod on the frame of their doors - damn Remainers!

:)) :)) :)) ‘Brexodus’ does have a certain fire & brimstone ring to it. Maybe we should have smeared lambs’ blood on our browsers to speed up the site hosting speeds.

My I.T. expert recommends using smeared Lamb's blood
For many computer problems. In the same way my
Mechanic encourages sacrificing a chicken for engine
Problems. All too complicated for me, all this new
    Technology.

The slow running problem seems to have worsened recently. I've contacted SiCo and asked him to have a look.

Is this still a problem, I have noticed it a bit tonight. I will have a word with the host, unfortunately these days they are not overly caring!
