It's been a few years since we had a new Bond game, so i was surprised to see this! IO Interactive are making a Bond game. The 007 twitter has RTd it.

They are the same company that make the Hitman games,which i am a big fan of. I wonder if they'll take elements from that series and put it into the new Bond game.

A thought I had about the EA video games

Hello, I recently had a thought about the video games produced by EA from 1999-2005. A number older video games based popular IP's like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Jurassic Park have been reissued on modern consoles so gamers both old and new can enjoy them. I would imagine that a collection of the James Bond video games, especially the EA titles would sell decently. I know that EA had a few 007 themed video games published that could have been better, but in this situation, the titles would be picked from the best of the bunch.

Please let me know what you think.

Hey there ! After few month of hardworking ! I finaly finished the three mines from the game on N64 !

It lights up, it vibrates and it beeps ! I wasn't sure how would look the proximity and the timed mine as I had to translate a low poly design into something real with the same aesthetic from the one in the movie. But it turned out great ! Especially the timed who's now my favourite !

Let me know what do you think on that take !

Lack of new Bond game news

Is anyone else surprised or shocked by the lack of news of any company stepping forward with interest of picking up the 007 video game license? The exception is that one blurb about Telltale having interest, but nothing has come out of that yet either. Plus that was a while ago.

I mean we are at least half way through the current run of systems and technically only the Wii U has seen a new entry in 007 Legends with the lackluster free DLC ending already in place. But nothing else since then.

Have you played these third-person shooters by Electronic Arts? I have played Everything or Nothing 007 along time ago but I never completed it and I never touched From Russia With Love 007, because I heard a negative review about it....But now that these games are dirt cheap on Amazon.com, I think they're worth revisiting again, especially since I never played one of them in the first place.

Okay I just got it today, and I dont know if it is because I played AUF before and am used to that but the controls are harder then crap!!!
Also the story is good but the gameplay is like going through an enemy minefield with mines 6 in. apart without blowing apart...IT'S HARD!!!!
One more thing I know here are cheats for NightFire but I do not know how to put them in, please tell me how and tell some good cheats.

P.S. I have it for the PS2.

I Expect You To Die 2 - Closest Game Yet to James Bond in VR

IEUTD2 is a spy based puzzle game that was recently released for most VR headsets including the standalone Oculus Quest. It's the second game in the series and after spending a few minutes with either one it quickly becomes clear that the developers are serious James Bond fans. If the game's title, based on that classic line from Goldfinger doesn't clue you in, you'll quickly find more references both subtle and more overt once you fire up the game. The opening credits - usually the part that you skip right away in most games - feature a song right out of a James Bond movie complete with animated trippy visuals. There's even a few riffs on the gun barrel sequence from the PTS that starts each movie.

You play as a secret agent sent on various missions in numerous locations by a handler with a distinctly British accent as you try to foil the nefarious plans of a secret criminal organization.

Gameplay takes place from a seated position as you interact with items within your grasp to solve the puzzles presented in each mission. For example, the first level has you posing as a stagehand at a theater where you must protect the prime minister from an assassination attempt by poisonous gas.

The game has a really nice tactile feel to it as you use your hand controllers to pick up, throw, shoot, or otherwise manipulate the objects around you. Since you are always seated in one place it's a very comfortable experience that won't trigger motion sickness in newer VR players like more advanced games can. The atmosphere is definitely tongue in cheek and the puzzles can be quite challenging so expect to die a lot as you figure out what to do - thus the title of the game.

I really enjoyed the first game and based on my limited play time the second one looks to be just as good. If you have a Quest or are thinking about diving into VR I'd strongly suggest giving the game a look, or at least check out some playthrus on YouTube.

Ron Perelman’s Scientific Games Inks James Bond Licensing Deal

Scientific Games —a MacAndrews & Forbes portfolio company and sister company to Deluxe — has inked a license agreement for the James Bond franchise, spanning casino, lottery and social/digital gaming. Terms of the multiyear agreement were not disclosed.

The agreement with EON Productions; Danjaq; and MGM Interactive, a subsidiary of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, gives Scientific Games the rights to tap past and future James Bond films, as well as the film’s talent portraying James Bond, according to this morning's announcement.

Ron Perelman, chairman of Scientific Games’ board of directors and CEO of MacAndrews & Forbes, said in a statement: “We have been excited about this license opportunity for a very long time and are thrilled that [Scientific Games CEO] Kevin Sheehan and his team were able to secure the exclusive licensing rights.”

Added Sheehan: “James Bond is synonymous with action, excitement, and next-generation technology. We look forward to harnessing the power of the Bond brand to drive innovation across the company in the years ahead.”

The company expects to show its first James Bond-themed slot games at the Global Gaming Expo, next October in Las Vegas.

Just finished up Bloodstone on ps3 for the second time after its release.

It really isnt a bad game and i actually am quite a fan of the story, fits in nicely between Quantum and Skyfall.
The reason i made this post is because of the cliffhanger ending, which i'm sure anyone who has completed the game is aware of.

I am aware that another game was in production to follow up the cliffhanger ending yet it saddly never saw the light of day.

Im sure this isnt the intention but i like to think myself that when bond asks "whos behind it all" and nicole replys "there everywhere". I thought instantly of mr white in S.P.E.C.T.R.E.

So really its as if this is SPECTRES precursor.

Whats everyone elses thoughts on this??

Here is a video link for the new expansion set I made for the James Bond CCG. This game was released in 1995 during the glut of CCGs and promptly ended the same year. Plans were to release an expansion set in 1996 named Villains & Women, but it never happened. Well it finally has in 2012 by me to coincide with the 50th anniversary of James Bond.

James Bond’s most famous cars will be available to drive in Forza Horizon 4 as part of a new add-on pack announced by Xbox.

The Best of Bond Car Pack will feature 10 vehicles from across 50 years of the popular films, including Goldfinger, The Man With the Golden Gun, Casino Royale and Spectre.

Gamers will be able to take the wheel of a range of classic Aston Martin models, including the DB5 made famous by Sean Connery, as well as more modern classics such as the BMW Z8 from The World Is Not Enough.

The 1977 James Bond Edition Lotus Esprit S1 has a special body kit option inspired by the “Wet Nellie” submarine vehicle from The Spy Who Loved Me.

In addition to the cars, players who own the Best of Bond Car Pack in Forza Horizon 4 will also receive some additional items, including three James Bond outfits and six “Quick Chat” phrases for use in the game.

I noticed that there is a thread with ideas for Bond 25 so I thought it would be worthwhile having one here.

As a lover of almost all of the Bond games, it’s a shame to see nothing on the horizon. Traditionally, gamers seem to agree that film tie-ins are among the worst of games available, but the James Bond games do not fit this generalisation.

After such poor treatment of the Bond licence in the last few years (i.e the 007 Legends mess from Activision and that awfully buggy app game from whoever), I believe that a new killer game is well overdue.

To start things off this has been my idea for a long time.

James Bond has never been made into a sandbox game but just imagine if they took elements from the Grand Theft Auto and Just Cause series and applied it to a Bond game. Instead they set up the sandbox as the world, and with the player beginning in London, they must make there way to the office, receive their briefing and then follow the leads. Each mission could be a movie plot or even a plot from the continuation novels (no discrimination here) and the character must travel to the relevant country (I.e Jamaica for Dr. No) and complete the investigation. I think this would have been the best way to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary and would be very nostalgic as players would get to relive these movies in an interactive way.

Didn't know whether to put this in off-topic or the gaming forum. It's not james bond games, so it might belong in off-topic...

But is anyone else madly obsessed with the legend of zelda game series? I myself love it, and have completed all 16 zelda games. Ocarina Of Time is my favourite, followed by Skyward Sword (I'm currently replaying through SS at the moment, and having a blast).

What's everyone's opinions on this brilliant game franchise? Share your thoughts!
