LOL! Okay, that's exactly the "standard" I used in determining it was 1:8: My model compares with yours alongside a 1:6 figure so I, too, had a look at the Connery/Stoke Poges pic and since my DB5 is supposedly 1:8, I said 1:8. The best test would be some true, documented measurement that we could scale off of, like wheelbase. As it stands, then, maybe I've been wrong all along and my model is actually 1:6 as well.
...then again, as with the seats, the suspension of the real DB5 would have lowered a bit due to Connery's weight.
Hmmm, if I went out and leaned on my car right now and it lowered that appreciably, I'd check my shocks then join Jenny Craig ...
I do remember seeing a model version of the TLD Aston at an Aston Martin race meeting some years back. The guy on the stall said it was a prototype of a never-made model line- it certainly wasn't customised from any other model car and was a pretty decent AMV8 shape.

I think it was smaller than 1:18 but it did have skis, yes.
Look at this stunning 1/8 DB5 model- I actually didn't believe it was a model at first the quality is so high. I've never seen the DB5 shape caught so perfectly before:
