I like Duffy, but I don't like this cover. Good grief, it sounds like an old-time Spiritual. Where's dat sweet chariot swingin' low? The grammatical correction is interesting, though: "if this ever-changing world which we live in. . ."
I actually got the line from The Sun,a story about BJ Arnau ( Brenda Arnau) don't remember the year and i'm not going through my scrapbook collection to find out.
I'm just waiting for Daniel Craig to be seen shivering in a ski sceen so i can use.
" The Coldest Blood Runs Through His Veins"
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Fair enough. But that means you must have been knocking around a bit circa 1973. I remember the same headline in the TVTimes - and I do have it in my scrapbook of the time!
LALD was the First Bond i was taken to see by my big brother, I think the sun may of used the line many years later as i think BJ Arnau or one of her kids was having drug problems and to pad the story out they mentioned about the producers liking the song but not McCartney's verson.
My first movie memory is of Bond, on holiday with my parents in Bray outside Dublin i can remember seeing OHMSS bits of it anyway as i was still in nappies and slept through most of it. But i always remembered the car chase in the snow and only remembered this when it was first shown on tv. and its nice to think that in a few years when i'm in a nursing home ( back in nappies ) and dribbling into my tea, I'll still be watching 007 ( it my eyes hold up ) and complaining to everyone that their not as good as they used to be.:) although I've started doing this already.

Erm...I'm almost scared to say it but....I quite like it.
I'm not a Duffy fan, I'm 40 and I am a McCartney fan.
Not sure what's wrong with me but I think it's an approach that gives the song a different feel that I like.
Hey it could've been worse, she could have done that pathetic cat's wail of Axl Rose! (Now I reallllllly hate that version!)
