  I did the same. First viewing in a normal theatre. Really enjoyed my first IMAX experience. I think after a 4 year wait expectations were a little too high for SF, and came out a little disapointed, if i'm honest. But wanted to see a film in IMAX and me and my son had said we would try and get another viewing of SF in before it finished its run. Wished i had watched it in IMAX first time around, very impressive.
