Renate Reinsve should be considered I think. She's being groomed as a future star, 178 cm (5'10'') tall and one of ten people Louis Vuitton picked to dress up for Cannes this year. (the other Norwegian on that short list is Ingmar Bergman and Liv Ullman's grandson).
Now Reinsve is mentioned as a frontrunner for the Best Actress Oscar for "Armand". This is the type of actress the Bond movies should cast: very talented, up-and-coming but not famous yet and beautiful.
Members may think that it's too early to post a list of favourite Bond girl candidates when there's not even a sign of a script yet. These members are absolutely right, but i won't let this stop me.
Emma Laird (British, 26 years old). She got my attention when I looked into the movie The Brutalist, perhaps the big Oscar contender this year. She was a model for years, a profession she didn't really like. in 2021 she was listed as one of 10 actors to watch by Variety.
In the spirit of the older Bond films, where any actor can play multiple characters, how about Lea Seydoux/ Eva Green doing a new twist on Mr Wint & Kidd.
Frida Gustavsson is as you may have guessed from her name, Swedish. She is also 31 years old and over six feet tall. She's a model and an actress. Frida has mainly acted in Swedish TV series and movies, but she's also been in the Witcher and Vikings: Valhalla. In my opinion she's an excellent candidate to be a Bond girl, and also a very good reason Bond should be tall.
She stars in a TV adaption of Ingar Bergmann's movie "Troløsa" (Faithless) directed by Tomas Alfedson (Let the right one in, Tinker tailor soldier spy):
This time it's not about a name, not an actress. Meet Novalie Sexy Engholm, a Swedish snowboarder who competes in the world championships. She inherited the unusual middle name from her grandmother, and Novalie Sexy never had any negative feedback because of the name. She finds it fun and plans to hand down the name if she ever has a daughter. So why can't future Bond girls have fun and, yes .... sexy names?
I don't think the names can be that overt today. We won't get anything like Sexi Lexi, Holly Goodhead or Pussy Galore. But I'd like to see something in the style of Xenia Onatopp; Honey Ryder or Mary Goodnight.
Maybe. We do know she's an excellent actress. She won the best actress award in Cannes last year, represents Luis Vuitton and looks very much to be a rising star.
Again it's not about an actress, but a name. I just saw someone with the last name "Malting" get interviewed on Norwegian TV news . I started thinking it makes sense if there are people named "Melting" too. I checked the records and it turns out that 120+ people have that name. Perfect for a Bond girl name: "Hallo, I'm Melting".
I'm a big supporter of casting a Bond girl from India! This is Ananya Panday. She's 27, a good age if Amazon picks a Bond actor under the age of 30. She made her debut as an actress in 2019 and has made a total of 12 films. Pay attention, 007!
Ditto the Indian connection. Peris Khambatta was the 'lost' Octopussy for me, although I get why they may have wanted an older woman to play the role opposite the less than sprightly Sir Roger.
Norwegian award-winning actress Renate Reinsve is on the cover of this month's international edition of Elle. I think she's be a better villain than Bond girl, but keep you eyes open for this actress!
I (obviously) didn't know that. Interesting! An Indian Octopussy would've made sense, but Maud Adams did great in the role. A Bond girl from India is overdue, that's for certain.
Just like NTTD the release date is pushed forward. You'll be glad to learn this isn't because of a new pandemic, but simply because we can't read a calendar. December 1st isn't tomorrow, Sunday. It's on Monday.

It's almost criminal that no Bond girls are from India: Here's some photo evidence:
Ananya Panday
Manushi Chhillar
Disha Patani

Sexi Lexi anyone ?

Maybe not as as a Bond girl, but Renate Reinsve should absolutely be cast in a Bond movie!
She's got a bit of Serena Gordon about her.
Maybe. We do know she's an excellent actress. She won the best actress award in Cannes last year, represents Luis Vuitton and looks very much to be a rising star.
Gemma Chan, effortlessly.
She has the voice, poise, and even the fashion sense.

Good call, and especially since Gemma Chan stars in the new Bond game.

What do you mean by "lost Octopussy"?

According to unverified info on her Wiki Page, Peris was considered for the role.
