Best Region B Blu-ray Set

I've joined this forum looking for help in deciding which Blu-ray set to buy. I would like a James Bond set that contains at least the first 20 official films and as many special features as possible.

I'm looking for a replacement for my 2002, 40-disc DVD collection, which was the first 20 films in two-disc cases with loads of special features for each film.

My options appear to be:

  • one of the two editions of The James Bond Collection - one had the first 23 films, and the other had the first 24;
  • The Ultimate Collection - which has the first 23 films; or
  • Bond 50 - which has the first 22 films.

The deciding factor for me will be which special features are on these Blu-ray discs. Let me know if you have any of these and what extras they've got.

Thanks!

    Personally I’d wait for the new 4k transfers…Connery films come first, then the rest will follow piecemeal…with, no doubt, a massive complete box set down the line. Each film will have its own set of extras.

    The MGM-Warner Brothers Sean Connery 4K set is very well done.

    This is the best version of Dr.No I have seen.
