Normally I am only collecting Roger Moore Items, but right after my love for Moore comes Connery and the Spy Craze of the 1960s. So having now read all Find your Fate AVTAK Tie Ins and all Victory Games James Bond RPG Modules, I decided I dive deep in the 1960s.
And I do not regret my eBay purchases of antique books. I also bought a PEZ Dispenser from the era that looks like a Walther PPK.
Though being born in 1973, I can now replicate a British teens from the 1960s spy craze experience and I love it very much.
The annual is filled with comics and short stories of generic Agents. I especially loved the Story Paperback with the title giving glass skeleton brilliant villains evil plan thwarted by some British agent. Another story features genetically modified locusts that are as big as ponies, that should destroy crops in farming areas.
My question concerning Bondians who grew up in the 1960s is to what your memories of said annual were?

I had the annual for a Christmas present and I was disappointed with it. There is little actual Bond stuff in it, the stories are generic spy tales and this 10 year old didn’t understand why the whole annual didn’t have Bond stories. The pics of the Bond films were good, but not enough for me to love the book.
