I've read many times the scene with Bond underwater was supposed to close the Jamaica part with the exploding boat (Bond and Felix discover Ash turns out to be a traitor and Felix possibly gets killed), whereas in this extended trailer, it concludes the movie, a little bit like in the Bourne ultimatum, where the main character fakes his own death, which would be a good conclusion for the Craig era.
So if this plotline is the right one, we all agree Bond will indeed survive ?
I don't think it will end with that scene, but it certainly could end the way you speculated.
If you look carefully, Bond is wearing the black braces and the tuxedo shirt from the Cuban scenes. The sequence of the sinking boat was shot in Jamaica, but actually takes place after the shootout in Cuba.
I think it's a personal choice to put the sequence right there while editing the video

Well, I thought the trailer was chronologically faithful to the plotline, otherwise I don't really understand it's interest.
Having said that, I have to admit I like the use of the "snow job" score from AVTAK for the Norway part with Safin and young Madeleine.

"Keeping British end up, sir." - RM "This never happened to the other fellow." - JL "I must be dreaming." SC
Just a splice
