Despite it's three classic horror stars (who only appear briefly- eg Cushing has one scene and the other two aren't in it), "Scream And Scream Again" is no more than a curiosity. There is a good basic story, I think, but it's poorly handled. Our own Michael Gothard does well, though. However, the poster's great!
In the early 70’s the British film industry was in a parlous state, Hammer had gone to the wall and only the James Bond franchise was the only light at the end of the tunnel. So our great comedic and character actors were reduced to starring in cheap sex comedies to put bread on the table.
And then there were the British softcore sex movies - also sometimes with some household names…
At least a couple of our own in there as well.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

That’s interesting,Barbel, I’ll see if I can dig out any more early examples.
These would make a very good binge-watch this weekend 😁
Absolutely!

The best movie about the music industry ever made…
A rarity - a British western, made by horror outlet Tigon, this is a rough, tough, violent movie with a great cast…
Our friends from UNCLE…
And David Niven as…um…James Bond?
I love these!
Thanks for those, CHB….you've set me off down a (rather nice) rabbit hole 🤭
