Those in the know have confirmed that Pinewood is booked up for the forseeable future. If Bond 26 does anything there, it'll likely be some kind of cursory bit of business to be able to say the new Bond was there.
You don't need to be 'in the know' Variety ran this story that from 2020, for ten years, Disney would lease everything at Pinewood except a couple of its TV studios.
Not sure if that can help the production of Bond 26. If Bezos buys the studio, is he also buying Disneys 10 year lease to? If Bezos could do it, could he buy Disneys lease instead?
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Um, where does Leavesden Studios fit into this?
Also we shouldn't ignore Pinewood Toronto.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
The dimly lit room expelled the odor of foul perspiration and overheated circuits. A bald man, a man who had deceived the world and held it for ransom many times extended his hand and lifted the receiver to his ear and in a steady, low and commanding voice dictated to the terrified listener, “I don't care what it costs, get rid of her.”
No, it was not the voice of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, nor Dr. Evil, nor even the nefarious Minime. It was the voice of another evil. BOZOS. His subject of contempt? The very soul of James Bond, Barbara Broccoli.
Bond the character truly died in NTTD. Bond the living entity, died with with Barbara Broccoli's departure from the seemingly immortal Bond Franchise. Confined in the prison walls of Aamzon, we will see several efforts of woke, diluted and pathetic cinematic streaming packages of something called 007, but with BOZOS's non-motion picture makers it can only be some streaming nightmare designed for audiences who never heard of Ian Lancaster Fleming and who have an attention span of three and a half minutes. It will be a horrible reentry with shallow characters, weak plots, AI gadgets not found in physics and pointless battles against what would have been considered the forces of good just 35 years ago.
Bond did die in No Time To Die. Everything dies sooner or later. We should let James Bond rest in peace, and honor and cherish his legacy.
To reply in a more serious way: No-one really knows if Bond26 will be good or bad, that's a risk one runs every time a film gets made. This time it's mostly a new team behind it too. But the people who are hired so far are very talented and experienced people, so likely the quality will most likely be high. If we'll like the tone of the film is a different matter. When it comes to "woke" I haven't seen anything that gives me reason to believe that's the direction Amazon is going.

What's "the forseeable future"? I'm very far from an expert, but I can't imagine Bond26 starts filming until next year at the earliest.
Disney has a ten-year lease on it. They can sublet, but Disney/Marvel isn't exactly short on productions to film there.
I see.

The Pinewood website does refer to expansion at Shepperton so maybe they could do some filming there, but it looks like CR all over again for Bond26.
Well some folks in here didn’t know 🤷🏻♂️
Yes, thanks!
Maybe Bezos will buy Pinewood?

Pinewood Shepperton looks pretty good. The backlots would be good for a Bond film, thinking of the NTTD Cuba set on the Pinewood-Pinewood backlot.
My bet is they figure it all out. There are other studios and on a positive note, maybe it pushes them to shoot more on location.

Is it you, Eeyore? 😄
I love the idea that Amazon, and Trump-sucker-upper Bezos, are somehow the 'woke' ones 😂
I'm picturing Jeff Bezos dancing in a Pride Parade. 🤣
