    Spandau Prison ! When did they arrest Spandau Ballet ? :))

    They never did as far as I can tell, but they bloody well should have on an Indictment for Crimes Against Music.

    Oh, how much I disagree!
    Spandau Ballet where the epitome of 80's music and imo the inventors of what we are calling "Longue Music" today.

    Absolutely love them!

    Sorry, but it's just my little Spandau based joke. I don't know their much well enough to dislike it! :) -{

    And they featured Martin Kemp who I love as an actor and would might have made a good Bond - he was certainly up for the part! :) -{

    I did enjoy " Ultimate Force" when it was on, were he played
    As SAS Sargent, but he is very limited as an actor. :)

    I know your not a fan of top gear but the did a road test for a little Renault car in
    Belfast, driving not just through it and the Antrim coast road, but in the big sewers
    In an Italian Job type sequence. At one point Clarkson opens the boot to show the
    Space in it and Old Ross is in it !, later Clarkson crashes it onto the sea trying to get
    on the Sea Cat. :))

    I'd like to rank, the anti piracy messages before the Bond film on the DVDs.
    Some of them seem very slap dash, and not up to the best. :v :D

    I think someone's out to get you, TP. Someone going by the name of 'Higgy Baby" has started no fewer than five "Rank the Bond Girls" threads this very day! Five of them (plus a sixth started by someone else)! They couldn't possibly be serious, so I am taking it that it's a personal attack on you, Sir. Obviously an effort to push you into the deep end, TP. Thought I'd better warn you so that you can get your meds ready. Stay strong!

    I'm only suprised one thread wasn't "Rank Bond's footwear in the series" ;)

    I think things with the Rankings threads are getting a little bit silly now aren't they? I prefer much more substantive and in-depth discussions on James Bond forums so perhaps I should make myself scarce for a while to see if this dies down a bit.

    Well isnt it ironic that the same people who are claiming they dislike rank threads in favor of intellectual discussions are mostly writing two word posts anyway?

    Its about putting up or shutting up

    Don't take this the wrong way AC but if you take the time to search for threads you will find one that you can simply "add" to instead of having its own dedicated thread.

    e.g. Im sure there is a general Tomorrow Never Dies thread that you could revive instead of creating a Pros and Cons of Tomorrow never Dies thread which you then repeat for every film in the series!!!

    You appear to be having an awful lot of threads locked by the mods due to such repetition

    I sure hope you make friends easy.

    It was not a reference to you alone by the way. It was merely a reference to the general silliness of the same type of threads and spoof threads appearing ad infinitum in the Bond films section. Sadly, the literary section has the opposite problem...

    And if you care to read my comments and threads here you will see they do quite often extend beyond two words and they even come with proper punctuation, too.

    Thats the way it works. Some get shut down but most of them do well. Muhammad ali didnt win all his matches but that doesnt mean he should have restricted himself to only 20 fights.
