Re: Bond's watch in SPECTRE
I'm not sure if someone noticed, but the Omega promo showing some blueprints of the Omega 300 are clearly revealing what the watch does One of the text says "C4 compartment".

I don't suppose the third watch could be the new master chronometer with a white face? I received marketing emails from omega in late October, could be just a coincidence tho?
This is the best unclear image of the watch I can get. To my eyes, it's a chronograph, the angle hides the pushers but I believe it's the squared off ones like the ones on the Aquare Terra. The vintage Omega's also have this. The size makes me think it's a vintage piece

Good catch. Since he's retired during that scene, maybe he has another brand on

Omega sure would not like that

That definitely looks like it has a subdial. Which Omega has a dial like that? Black leather strap too. Hmmm... Someone should inquire with Omega and show them that image. Meanwhile, I'm gonna go look around the Omega website...
Has anyone suggested this as a possibility?

Possible. I did see it at the website and immediately thought that was it. But the one in the movie looks like it's a rose gold case. Could be the lighting. But also the one in the movie doesn't have the pushers for the chronograph either. I only see a single crown there. Hard to say for sure either way to be honest. But that de ville there looks the closest.
A multi-thousand dollar watch is crazy to me. I bash my hand into stuff constantly. And I'm no spy. I go through watches like water when I wear them. If I was a geezer taking life slow & easy maybe... but seriously now!
I just bought the SPECTRE Omega with NATO band. Costs $7500
If the watch is a vintage Omega chronograph, I am pretty sure the pushers are the square ones like the one worn by Tom Cruise in War of the Worlds. You can sort of see how the pushers are hidden depending on the angles. Given the image of the watch seen in Spectre is dark and out of focus, this could be the case. Sort of an optical illusion. I have seen versions of this watch in steel even though this one is gold.

A distinct possibility I have to say, there's been some posts over on the spectre wardrobe from filming thread today, on there I've said I believe it to be a vintage watch, and thart is inkeeping with the db5 and driving gloves retro feel of the scene,
Watched the clip with Bond starting the AM an embarrasing amount of times last night (in HD), and:
- I'm quite sure that there are no side pushers, despite there clearly being at least one sub-dial.
- I couldn't grasp the faintest trace of a brand logo (was specifically looking for the Omega symbol) which makes me think this could indeed be a vintage watch of a different brand, with logo removed due to Omega's endorsement terms.
Methinks this is going to be a loooooong mystery.
I think your right, my own belief is that it's a vintage Omega with a seconds sub dial.
Why doesn't somebody just as Mr Deaton?

I brought him up once without knowing his history here, and boy did I get it.

Ah, the good days!
So the 321 calibre was used for vintage Speedmaster / Seamaster Chrono and Deville?
All look fairly similar!
Is it silver or rose gold though? Looks silver to me
The color looks good, but I am convinced that the pushers are squared off, not the ones in the image, cause you can see the crown, and the pushers are higher. But the squared off ones are the same height as the crown and the wrap around the case. That's my two cents.Look at this fuzzy image, the hands are wrong but look how the pushers blend in to the case.
