I found a gem that many probably didn't even know existed. Here's a rip I found of the Helicopter Crash music from A View To A Kill. Sadly it's not fully soundless but it's a great find none the less. Many probably didn't realize this scene had music since the sound effects heavily drowned it out. Enjoy my friends.  ajb007/smile

Thanks for that link. I must admit that I hadn't even noticed the music so it was a great pleasure to hear another bit of AVTAK score that I hadn't even realised was there!  ajb007/smile

That is a fantastic cue indeed! Somehow I don't remember hearing that one in the film.

It has the swirly strings Barry first used in OHMSS. It's a great short and sweet track.

"No for me."
"You forgot the first rule of Mass Media Elliot! Give the people what they want!!!"
"I never miss..."
"Time to face gravity!"

I also did a cover of Helicopter Crash for those wanting to listen to a clean version. ajb007/smile

This one doesn't appear to have been shared, Barry's arrangement of The Magnificent Seven Theme in Moonraker:

The arrangement and orchestration recalls some things Barry did earlier in the 1970s. I know the inclusion of this tune is supposed to be a joke, but the arrangement is so magnificent (sorry  ajb007/lol ) that it doesn't take me out of the film. This will always be the ultimate version of the theme for me because I first saw Moonraker as a young lad of 3, years before I ever saw The Magnificent Seven.

John Barry's first version of "The Magnificent Seven", from many years earlier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40zmXpgjJfA

11 songs done for next CD- one being discarded- now the mixing & mastering begins.

I can't see it, but I'm pretty sure I know the version, and it's not as amazing as the Moonraker arrangement (though it's much different).

One of my favorite AVTAK cues. "May Day Escapes."

Death Of Dario, is a great piece! The Spanish guitar riff is sinister and the ending of the piece sounds horrible! I don't mean the cue is terrible, but the use of the strings, actually sounds like Dario being shredded!
