Another sickening attack , perhaps it's time that if your actions bring you to the Intrests of the Police
and intelligence services you should face imprisonment or deportation. It's also disgusting to learn
That there are tweets and messages of support on Facebook etc for the attacker. Facebook know
Who these are and should, give that information to the authorities. If not Tax the hell out of them or
Charge them as supporters of terrorism .
My thoughts and condolences to all the families involved.

Anyone showing any kind of support for atrocities like this should be rounded up and dealt with in the strongest possible manner. I can almost understand attacks on political or military buildings and personel but to target INNOCENT children and people attending a pop concert is beyond appalling. I think C & D raises a valid point, and acts like this will further divide certain ethnic groups from the rest of us, showing support will only speed this up. One day we will appreciate that not all humans can live together peacefully and don't share the same principles and sensibilities. A sad day.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

This is not a good day...period!

Apparently the thing who detonated his device waited at an exit door to the arena to catch the maximum amount of casualties. I think we need an identify, seek and destroy policy....terminate with maximum prejudice!

    RIP SIR Roger -{

The Australian Government have the right policy: If you don't like living in our country & do not wish to obey our rules and regulations? then fooking well get out of our country! This is a very sad appalling day!

RIP Roger Moore. The man kept James Bond movies alive and very popular in the 70's and early 80's. He gave millions so many good memories. A nice man and a true gentleman :007)

This is such sad news. He was my James Bond. A true gentleman. An absolute legend.

We all knew this day would come (sooner rather than later sadly) but should just be grateful and celebrate his life and wonderful career.

    RIP Sir Roger :x

Normally I'd close down duplicate threads but not this time. As many as we like; he deserves them.

Very sad news! He was always the Bond i would go to if i needed a laugh. He could make you laugh without saying a word. I still laugh at the FYEO nod and the wink at the medic in MR.

    RIP to a Bond legend!

Unexpected, despite his age, a shocker.

His films were so highly entertaining, and my mum would take me to see them in the 70s, well, Moonraker was the big one and from thereon we saw them at Odeon Leicester Square. Without them, what would we have seen? Disney time and again, and that kind of thing. I never got into Star Wars.

Thanks for the memories, Sir Rog.

Very sad news. He seemed like a very kind gentleman in his interviews and, despite hating gadgets, I deeply enjoyed "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "For Your Eyes Only".

    Such awful news. Sir Roger Moore's contribution to the Bond franchise is immeasurable and his impact on the world through his work with UNICEF even more significant. Moore was the epitome of the "Gentlemen Spy", and thanks to DVDs, video tapes and the like, his unique spin on the role of 007 can be viewed and enjoyed by millions of fans for many years to come. RIP Sir Roger - you were truly a class act! -{

    So sad. The passing of my personal hero, Sir Roger Moore at 89 years. Although a Fleming purist at heart, I have always loved him and his Bond films. Of course it would've been nice had he lived to 90, but I take great comfort in the knowledge that he had a full long life, well lived. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and fans around the world at this difficult time for them. -{

RIP Sir Roger. 89 years is a great run but he will still be missed terribly. He was a great ambassador for Bond and an even better ambassador for humanity.

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli - “We are heartbroken at the news of Sir Roger Moore’s passing. On the screen, he reinvented the role of James Bond with tremendous skill, charisma and humour. In real life, he was a genuine hero working as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for many years dedicating his life to alleviating the suffering of children all over the world. He was a loyal and beloved friend and his legacy shall live on through his films and the millions of lives he touched. We shall miss him enormously. Our love and thoughts are with Deborah, Geoffrey, Christian his grandchildren and his wife Kristina.”

'This Is The Place' in full

Manchester! This is the place in the North West of England

It’s ace, it’s the best and the songs that we sing

From the stands, from our bands set the whole planet shaking

Our inventions are legends! There’s nowt we can’t make and
So we make brilliant music. We make brilliant bands

We make goals that make souls leap from seats in the stands

And we make things from steel and we make things from cotton

And we make people laugh, take the mick summat rotten

And we make you feel at home and we make you feel welcome

And we make summat happen, we can’t seem to help it

And if you’re looking for history then yes, we’ve a wealth

But the Manchester way is to make it yourself

And make us a record, a new number one

And make us a brew while you’re up, love. Go on!

And make us feel proud that you’re winning the league

And make us sing louder and make us believe it

that this is the place that has helped shape the world

And that this the place where a Manchester girl

Name of Emmeline Pankhurst from the streets of Moss Side

Led a Suffragette City with sisterhood pride

And this is the place with appliance of science

We’re on it, atomic, we strut with defiance

In the face of a challenge we always stand tall

Mancunians in union delivered it all

Such as housing and libraries, and health, education

And unions and co-ops, the first railway station

So we’re sorry! Bear with us! We invented commuters!

But we hope you forgive us – we invented computers!

And this is the place Henry Royce strolled with Rolls

And we’ve rocked and we’ve rolled with our own Northern Soul

And so this is the place to do business, then dance

Where go-getters and goal setters know they’ve a chance

And this is the place where we first played as kids

And me Mam lived and died here, she loved it she did

And this is the place where our folks came to work

Where they struggled in puddles, they hurt in the dirt

And they built us a city. They built us these towns

And they coughed on the cobbles to the deafening sound

Of the steaming machines and the screaming of slaves

They were scheming for greatness, they dreamed to their graves

And they left us a spirit, they left us a vibe

That Mancunian Way to survive and to thrive

And to work and to build, to connect and create and

Greater Manchester’s greatness is keeping it great

And so this is the place now we’ve kids of our own

Some are born here, some drawn here, but we all call it home

And they’ve covered the cobbles, but they’ll never defeat

All the dreamers and schemers who still teem through these streets

Because this is a place that has been through some hard times

Oppressions, recessions, depressions and dark times

But we keep fighting back with Greater Manchester spirit

Northern grit, northern wit in Greater Manchester’s lyrics

And there’s hard times again in these streets of our city

But we won’t take defeat and we don’t want your pity

Because this a place where we stand strong together

With a smile on our face, Mancunians Forever

Because this is the place in our hearts, in our homes

Because this is the place that’s a part of our bones

Because Manchester gives us such strength from the fact

That this is the place. We should give something back.

Always remember. Never forget. Forever Manchester.

    Choose Love.
