Sheriff Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Does anyone out there remember a Bond spoof of the Sgt Pepper album cover called Sheriff Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band? It was done a number of years ago and was online, but now I can't find it...anyone maybe have it saved on their computer? I wanted to show it to a friend, but alas, it seems to have disappeared from the interwebs... :(

Don't remember that one, but if I come across it I'll let you know.

I remember it. It was an OHMSS tribute site that also included a catalog of albums from a "band" called The Bondles. Every album was included, such as Rubber Solex, Sheriff Pepper's..., and The Whyte Album. Each track on every album was also named, the names of which which unfortunately I cannot remember. It was a brilliant parody, I think by a guy named Graeme somethingorother, and alas it has disappeared. I still have the URL in my favorites just for kicks, and it currently links to a site that is entirely in Japanese characters.
    Hilly...you old devil!

Ah, yes! The Bondles! I remember now. :)

I wonder if one can find an archived version of the original site somehow.

Bloody hell! I'm flattered that my Bondles project is remembered.

As it happens, I've got the original site archived and would be happy to send it to you.

The Sheriff Pepper image was a Bond-universe version of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's album sleeve, the former of which I created as a Photoshop training exercise. It's all a bit naff but the finished art was, for me at least, very rewarding.

Cheers and thanks for the kind words.

Is it a Japanese Search Engine?

For the benefit of Willard Whyte and a few others, a new website devoted to the Sad Double-O Seven, The Bondles, is now online. 'Shamthology' presents newly-mastered sleeves of all but one of the Bondles studio albums, including complete track listings.

Also featured is a section that examines the album-sleeve clues in the infamous "George is Tits-up" hoax.

To celebrate the 50th-anniversary of the Bondles' masterpiece, "Sheriff JW Pepper's Louisiana Bigots Club Band", a newly-updated version of the album sleeve has been published.

So if you feel like taking a sentimental trip down 'Monepenny Lane' with The Bondles, you could do a lot worse than clicking-over to www.shamthology.com to "The Bondles' Shamthology" website.
